Are the updates only downloaded when you're on home WiFi? Or will the updates be downloaded on LTE? My truck says system is current.

LTE. Even if never hooked up to WIFI it will still update if functioning properly.

Any good news? I’m assuming not…

Just to chime in on this. I had the same general issue with loosing BC and all the adaptive cruise stuff. There was an issue with the IPC update that turned out to be a bad IPC. After they replaced it and updated from FRDS, it all started working with Sync 22095. Not sure if that helps at all, but they said the IPC has all the display stuff for the BC/AAC so that is what was causing my issue.

since replacement, everything is working. My only issue is that it hugs the left lane line and wanders a lot. I won’t hardly trust BC in traffic as my tire is 2-3” from the right line. It’s going in next Monday for an IPMA realignment/recalibration. Hoping that solves the issue.

You misunderstood my post. I don't have the BC option on my truck. Not worth the cost in Colorado. It's stuck at OTA 2.7.3 same as Rugedraw's. Truck says it has it, Ford's website says it was unsuccessful. Everything on my truck is working great, just can't get beyond the 2.7.3 OTA.

talked to them yesterday and they are trying to say that my BCM mods and reverting back broke the BCM. I call BS, but they are still working it. AFAIK, you did not make any changes to yours with forscan and are having the same issue, correct.

I have made a couple changes. I believe the only BCM changes I’ve made is shutting off the double honk and disabled the power point timeout.
What’s their next step? Replacing the BCM? There has been no talk of warranty not covering it if they think you created this has there?

They made a comment that if they do in fact say that I caused it, then I would be responsible, however they are still working it. They have not gotten to the point to say that I did it. I don't think making a couple of software changes, then reverting back to stock would cause a problem... Everything I changed, which is just the double honk, full bright drl, bambi mode, tire size, and parking light with drl is now back to stock.. No dtc's after going back to stock.

i agree, I also can’t see making those few changes would cause a BCM issue. My local dealer also told me that Ford has recently pulled the APIM tech bulletin to correct the non updating issue and they aren’t performing that bulletin anymore.
I’m obviously going to take a hit but I’m very close to trading mine on a 22. Thoughts? Should I make it go away? I don’t want to have a truck with no cruise for months and if they decide they aren’t going to take responsibility….

Wait - so they are blaming those of us who made changes with Forscan?
