You seem to be great at arithmetic, let's now work on our reading comprehension. I mentioned the 5.0 engine in my 1991 model Lincoln and the 2023 model engine. Not sure where you keep coming up with 2011.

Here's my quote: I had the 5.0 in my '91 Lincoln Mark VII... great engine (that ran out of breath above 85mph).

Are we done here?

The Windsor 5.0 had a long history that ended in 1996.

The Coyote 5.0 has a history of 12 years in the F150 that started in 2011.

Neither are related in any way.

Glad you sleep well. A lithium fire is nothing like a gasoline fire. ICE has more fires because there are many many more older versions of them and lots of them being worked on at home, with the expected higher fire rate. Nobody working on an EV at home, yet that doesn't stop them from spontaneously combusting. If you have an EV fire and it fills your home with a hellsbrew of hazmat smoke, you are gutting it down to the studs to remove it. Good luck with that insurance nightmare. Homeowner insurance rates are beginning to reflect that risk, if you own one.

Wait! You had three failures of something in four days of ownership & Ford just threw up their hands & bought it back? That has to be a record of some sort

Ford has an extensive history of this issue with many other trucks. When mine went in for service, Ford told my dealer that at that time there was no fix. They had hoped to have a fix in the next several months. This did not seem reasonable to anybody involved.

In regards to the poster above, you are correct. Hybrid vs. non-hybrid has no price difference in contracts.
Zach, do you anticipate any January 1 price increases?

I'm waiting for my FordPass points to appear before I buy it - just wondering if I should jump before the end of the calendar year or not.

No, Typically the only price increase is in October. The only other time I've seen them make a price increase is in April/May. So it would be out of character to see an increase in january.
