the power boost is going into its third year, the bugs are being worked out. if you can wait until the 24s have been out a while. Many fixes were implemented in the refresh and it would be better to see how they fair.

 

They made me a very fair deal on another 2023 F-150. This one is a Lariat with a 5.0. My dealer was a very key part in making this happen. No complaints.

Owned my 23 for 3 weeks now no issues. It was a service loaner for 3500 miles. I wasn’t looking to buy a powerboost.

 

No, 3rd. Started in 2021 and it's going to be 2024.. 2024 minus 2021 equals.. three.

I've had '22 XLT Powerboost since june of 2022.

This truck has really been flawless, zero issues and gas mileage has been fantastic,
summertime I get 26 mpg on a tank of fuel easy.( plenty of times on a summer trip I have seen 30 mpg )
Winter is more 23-24 mpg.

Disclaimer : I admittedly drive like an old man, you will not get 26 mpg driving this 6000 lbs truck if you floor it at every light and
drive 85 mph. I read posts that are like '' My gas mileage sucks ! way worse than my 1997 Honda civic was ! I don't even drive that fast,
only about 90 miles and an hour which is really kind of slow around where I live '' .

 

Same here, I drive like an old man, and I have actually gotten 30 mpg going 60 mph on a very flat surface with winter gas.

 

Short answer: if you're going to utilize the ProPower system (the 7.2kw version), then a resounding yes. If not, then I'd probably go with a different motor.
