Is the complexity of powerboost worth it ?
It was the stop safely now message. Truck would not start. The issue happened 3 times in 400 miles. Ford advised my dealer that this was a known issue and that there was no fix. Several people on this forum think they have solved the issue but, they haven't. As far as I know, Ford still has not found and corrected whatever is causing this. Many others on this forum have had this issue also.

14,000 miles and tired of wondering/worrying about the electrical nightmare I was driving. Weird clicks and strange performance at times. Truck had power for sure but I was nervous. Traded for 5.0 25 Tremor yesterday. I feel much better. Have had good luck with the 5.0 in the past. My 14k mile average mpg was 17.1. Not worth it. My best trip was 23.2 mpg.

Even today's Coyote has differences when you compare the Mustang version to the F150 version......
Hello all. I just wanted to add my story. I purchased my 24 Lariat power boost brand new in August of 24. When I purchase a vehicle I treat it like a good marriage, to the end. A year and 4 months with 40k miles later yes 40k I知 pleased to say zero issues. The only issue was a recall for a radiator cowl trimming, they had to cut a few pieces in it to allow air to the intake. My daily commute to work is approximately 110 miles round trip. I leave early for work and yes I知 probably pissing a few people off because I知 cruising enjoying 30 mpg. But on the average I知 getting anywhere between 18 and 25mpg. I知 coming from an 06 Titan that I told everyone that I think it had a NASCAR engine in it. Smooth as silk and thirsty like a camel. Well I eventually killed it. I thought about a new Tundra but I think ford has been doing v6 bi turbos long longer so they must know a thing or two more. Plus I don稚 think the Tundras is appealing at all. The power boost is the reason I came to an F150. Everyone has their opinions on what engine is better. I really just think their choice in engine is what痴 best for them. I change my oil every 4 to 5k and both cabin and engine filters damn near every other oil change. I added a oil catch can even though the newer fuel system has both port and direct injection. I looked inside an intake on both valves added it for extra insurance. I知 really not thinking about the hybrid system failing. If it does it will be figured out. Yes it痴 not fully refined enough for the price but it値l do. Next year I値l be at 80k and will give you guys an update but if something hating between I値l chime in. Cheers.
