Sync 3 Memory Issue
I'm on this list of frustration. I really hope that Ford take this problem seriously!
When getting in your truck & going. You have to take your eyes off the road to confirm the requests. Is this safe... hell no!
So many people are already watching their cell phones and taking their eyes off the road, that's on the individual. But, with this software glitch. This is on Ford!
My truck is going into the dealer this week for some other work/inspection. I hope they have a fix for it.

just got back from vacation and hadn’t check this thread in a few weeks. Will definitely be doing it this week excited to hear there’s a solution. Thanks @barrytone !
Great!!!

It´s working. Perfect.

Now the instruction: if you have the follwing issue and nothing else is working.
Version of Sync: 3.4 Build 22251, Not MY20
<d2p1:PartitionHealth type="/fs/rwdata/" total="1.2G" available="0"/>
The partition is completely full.
1. Use Sync3 Jailbreak with Forscan
2. Use Deamon installer
3. Use rwdata Data Cleaner 1.1
4. Downgrade Sync3 to Build 19101 with Cyanlabs, only Apps nothing else.
5. Upgrade to the latest version 3.4 Build 23088 with reformat and maps.
6. Master Reset over Touchscreen
Result:
<d2p1:PartitionHealth type="/fs/rwdata/" total="1.2G" available="1.0G"/>
Thank you very much !!!!
You can find all necessary apps on the database of FMods and for downgrade and update use Cyanlabs.

I just upgraded today from V3.0 to 3.4 using the Cyanlabs download with updated Nav maps. I believe the version I selected during the download and thumb drive creation was the 22251 version but checked after the installation and the build was the 23088 version, Nav Maps upgraded to 2.22 version. After I saw the different Build number, I was kind of worried for a while but had no issues during the install and have had no redundant pop-ups after deselecting and turning off auto updates and the "send info to Ford message". I have restarted the truck multiple times today to watch for the pop-ups and none have returned. I was able to a factory reset before installing V3.4 and I did another factory reset after the install, no issues. The whole upgrade took less than 25 minutes from start to finish. The look is definitely different from V3.0, not sure what else has changed though.

I've read through this when I've had a chance but it's a very long read.
I may have missed it but is there a post that has the actual procedure step-by-step how to to clear this up?
I apologize if it's already been said multiple times but I seem to be reading different answers, I am old though so maybe it's just me. 😬
