Same problems as everyone else, pop ups every time truck ignition is started, black screens, screen gets stuck on reverse camera, sync will not master reset. Took it to the dealership and they told $1300 for new PCM plus labor.

[QUOTE=Alex32503;7432250]I had this issue (not with jail break) and I mention it in one of my posts. I needed to do enough master resets to clear enough memory to load the files. My MR would freeze for days, even before barrytone gave us the solution.

You need to sit there and hold the VOL+Advance buttons and just keep holding them, I did it for a few minutes, then I was able to do the master resets again, just let it keep recycling. I mention how much freed up memory I got with two, then I gave to two more for good measure (but I didn't test the last two.)

So, continue to hold the Power button and right seek button for several resets and I'll be able to do a master reset?

 

I've never messed with any vehicle software and scared to mess it up worse than it is.

 

It's pretty hard to totally mess it up, as long as you keep the truck running or have a good battery charger to hook up so the BMS doesn't kick in and shut the truck down in the middle of the process. As a whole, the truck can run without the radio, so absolute worse case, everything went horribly and your APIM is torched, you can still drive the truck with no radio and purchase a new APIM from eBay, etc. The chances of things getting to that point is slim to none if steps are properly followed.
