The Leveling Kit Thread
A lot of guys with leveled trucks end up adding air bags to the back to level the truck when towing or hauling heavy loads.
Sounds like you are saving some $$ not doing all that
Do you need to reset the offroad displays, short answer is no you do not. If you use them religiously while offroading, I am sure they could be reset, or the easier route would be to learn how the angles effect your vehicle and compare it to the reading. That being said, prior to my level I was playing with the offroad readouts and can honestly say they are not even remotely close to the road signs on the highway for hill grade. Who knows?
Mine has about a half inch rake. I never tow, and hardly put stuff in the back besides wood, furniture, etc. Mainly dumb stuff or stuff my wife wants, which could fall into the same category
Can anyone tell me if a 2wd with a 2in level will fit 275/70/18 with a +18 offset? I've looked around and it seems like some guys have been able to run a similar size but haven't mentioned any rub. I'm trying to avoid having to trim anything or cut crash bars.
I did bilsteins in rear and eibach in the front. Rides fine. A little stiffer than stock but I figured as much with the 10 ply tires. After all, I didn't buy a raptor. Went with 295/60/20 (33.9x11.8) with a zero offset on rims. Zero rub at full lock full flex, kept my crash bars
