I will try and find the thread and edit it in. I think you would be ok though.

Thanks man, appreciate the info. That's an interesting thread as well! 285/65/20s with apparently no level.

One thing to keep in mind is the price and weight jumps with little gains in actual tire size.

Yes, I don't really care about weight but I had already gotten quotes on a few different tires in both sizes.

I've ordered Duratracs in 275/65/20, they'll go on end of next week.

You are welcome! I believe you were looking at a 285/60 not the 65, but if the 65 fit with seemingly no issues I figured a 60 would be even more likely to fit. Just trying to help out the community! Best of luck on your mods!

Yes I was, but to goathead's point all of the 285/60s were a bit more money, and I've seen enough pictures of the 275/65s that I like so decided to go with them.

Just installed 2.5" Fox Coil over with remote resi and DSC. Lifted the truck about 3" in the front. Now its 39.9" from the ground to all 4 fenders.

Stock wheels for the next 5 days.

Finally got the wheels and tires on and got it cleaned up to take some pics! So it looks like even with the Bilsteins at the top setting I still have some rake, weird.

Anyway, since it's good to post technical specs- level is Bilstein 5100's set at 2.1". Wheels are Dirty Life Roadkill, 17x8.5 +6 wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler P285/70R17. Tucks just under the flare very nicely as well.

Looks good, how much rake do you have?
I used a 1 1/2" motofab spacer, and have my 5100's set to .71. So, I may be a little higher than you, I figure close to 2 1/4" level is what I wound up with, and still have an inch of rake.
Seems that results are greatly varied. What is your payload? Mine is 1904#.

Does a 2.5” leveling kit provide much more tire clearance than a 2” leveling kit?

Yes, about a 1/2"
