What size drop hitches are you guys running? I wanna buy a b and w. But measuring my trailers. A 5” drop makes sense but afraid of clearance issues from hitch bottom to ground.

Then you're dropping too far - your trailer sets the height the hitch should be at.

So you're worried about the clearance when you're not hooked up? (remove the hitch) i don't know why you'd be worried about clearance when it's hooked up as the trailer is what's going to touch down first. I guess i'm not fully getting the reason for your concern here.

Im not going to be leaving a $240 hitch on my truck when I’m not hooked up. I’m speaking of when towing and backing up at a launch. And scraping is 5” to long

I would think the tongue weight and any gear in the bed of the truck would squat the back of the truck.
Your 19.5" may be significantly less when loaded up.

I would load everything and then measure your clearance.

My truck is just leveled with 35's and I don't use anything more than around a 2" drop. I use Gen Y mostly. Also, check out Bolt receiver locks. They are amazing.

Which is a softer ride; Bilstein 5100 adjusted at 2 inch lift or Bilstein 5100 at stock ride height with 2 inch spacers?

Oh great question, I'm curious as well. My dad ran the Bilstein 5100 at the highest setting on his Titan and hated the ride, but he also had a 2.5 hour round trip drive everyday and was picky about ride quality. My guess is a stock ride height shock paired with a spacer would be a softer ride, but that's just a guess.

Can anyone recommend a shop in the Toronto area to install 5100's up front? Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill would be ideal. Quotes I'm getting seems steep @ $700+ if that's typical then I'll just DIY it.
