So i just acquired bilsteins front and rear swt up to replace my belltech lowering kit. The front stuts are set at 0" with a 2.5" procomp level. You can see it has a spacer on top of the spring amd then a smaller on on top of the strut. If i remove the top one before installing i should get just a 2" level right? I could dissaaswmble them and remove them all together but i figure with the bilstein set at 0 and a spacer the ride will be better.

The Bilstein 5100 front shocks have five grooves in the body of the shock. The lowest groove is stock height. The highest was claimed at the time they were introduced to be 2.1" lift.
But there are at least 7 different spring rates that Ford has installed on the 2015-2018 trucks... and your ride height using someone else's springs will vary from what it would be had you used the springs from your own truck.
Where the spring is installed won't change ride quality, since the weight of the truck will compress the assembly beyond the weight at which it would be if the spring/shock assembly would be before installation.
In spite of all the above, you will LOVE the new driving dynamics your truck will have when four Bilsteins 5100s are fitted, used or not. I doubt they're worn out. Congrats!

No. See above, and toss the puck spacer. They are pretty much useless.
How thick is that top spacer? If it's 3/8", that would be for a 1/2" lift, according to MotoFab, so ya,, it would drop to a 2" level. I had Bilsteins set at next to lowest setting, and a MotoFab 1 1/2" spacer on top, worked very well I thought in my '17.
2019 STX here! First time poster! I am very interested in leveling the truck and the Bilstein 5100s have caught my eye due to them being in my price range. I do pull a single axle enclosed trailer on Saturdays for lawn care. Which is around 2000lbs including the equipment inside. So I will still need a bit of rake I'd assume to avoid major sagging....
What max height on the 5100s is suggested in this scenario?
I do plan on getting larger tires for the stock STX wheels in the future. Would a taller rear block keep the rake I need without sacrificing the ride?
Looking for any suggestions you guys may have! Thank you in advance and I'm enjoying reading through all the posts!

If you don't put a lot of weight in the bed and have only the trailer tongue weight to contend with, then install the Bilstein 5100s with the coil spring saddle in the fourth highest of the five circlip positions. This will net you roughly 1-3/4+" front lift.
Final front suspension static ride heights can vary almost 1/2 inch due to engine, drivetrain (rear-wheel or four-wheel-drive), and equipment options which make the truck lighter or heavier from the factory.
I'm pretty excited for the delivery today of my new Bilstein 6112 Strut & Spring Coilovers and the B8 5100 rear shocks that I ordered last week. After exploring a lot of informative shock posts, I decided this combination was best for me. Shock Surplus surprised me with their super quick service. Ordered them last Thursday Jan 28 and received them today Wednesday Feb 3. The stars must have been aligned. Amazing. Now to get them installed.

Man I really appreciate the detailed response! I'm assuming the 4th highest setting is what I'm seeing around the threads marked as 1.75". I have the 2.7 Ecoboost as far as weight goes and it is a RWD.
Steve! You're going to love those 6112s, too. It took some time for me to get used to them from how perfectly awesome the 5100s felt, but bottom line is you will. The 6112 will be way better off road, and you will come to appreciate the firm valving on the pavement too. They are on another level.
To no one in particular: If your truck works and plays on the pavement, then go 5100 all the way. If you off road a lot but don't run high-speed who0p-de-doos where a more-expensive Kings or Icon setup *might* be better, the 6112s are incredible. I know a guy that runs an independent off road supply business (not part of any chain stores) and he thinks hands down! that the 6112/5160 (or 5100 rear) is the best setup for the money, and may even be the best setup commonly available.

Whoa! You are Lucky! All of the Bilsteins I know of are backordered until April...
