I will have to check on the spring rate. I am in need of shocks all around (91,000 miles) and figured that I might as well do it all at once, level & shocks.
What is the factory spring rate?
Up front :
Fox 2.5 coil overs w/ adjusters
Icon billet UCAs
SPC cam alignment tabs
Trimmed to clear 35s
Out back:
Fox Factory Race Series 3.0 External Bypass 17-18' Raptor shocks
SVC Airbumps w/ Fox 2.0 IBP cans
Deaver +3 HD
SVC shackles
Method MR704 rims with 35x12.5r17 Toyo RTs
Awesome serious looking truck. Can you explain a little on the SPC cam alignment tabs? Are these items requisite for use with the Icon billet UCAs? Is the truck capable of running at say 30+ ,mph over rough terrain including whoops etc.?
I would consider this truck to be the model to strive for when altering stock suspension, unless going for the full long-travel or mid-travel wider upper and lower control arm with appropriate coil-over approach. Which then looking at $20k and up to realize that build level...
Great job on this truck. What diff ratios, which engine, more details? If 3.5 EB and 3.55 ratio diffs, how do the 35s work with that base setup?

Wow thanks for the info! Great depth of knowledge there. This helps me with component selection for my truck. Obviously need to do more research but also reinforces validity of going to Brenthel for example to get a full mid or long travel setup with glass and a Curry axle.
So I recently got new tires and decided while I was getting them put on I would have a leveling kit installed as well. Went to pick up my truck and took one look at it and thought it looked less level than when I dropped it off. So I go in and talk to the guy and find out they just went ahead and installed 3" blocks in the back without asking me saying it was standard with all leveling kits. Got it home and measured it and sure enough the back end was now just under 3" higher than the front. The oppsite of level, it was less level. So went back and tore a strip off the manager because I felt like they were ripping me off, charging me for these rear blocks and the labour on top, and now they're fixing it but am I out of line for being pissed off or is this how most get installed? I wanted my truck to be more level not less.
Have them remove the rear block and replace it with the factory one....... with "NEW" U-bolts !
Their mistake their cost.
If they installed the front level already leave it.
Then take the truck to a different more reputable shop for the alignment and ask them to double check the work from the previous shop.
Best luck going forward.....at least you know where Not to go now.
