Seems from what I'm reading that strut spacers will actually lift higher than their thickness, that a 2" spacer will actually raise the front 2 1/2" and a 2 1/2 will lift it 3".
Is this correct or am I reading it wrong ?
Yepper, what you're thinking is true, has to do with geometry.
From my particular case anyways, the 2 inch spacer raised the truck 2 inches as intended. The extra increase was associated with the larger tire diameter, so 2.5” overall from ground to bottom of wheel well.

Hey guys, thinking about putting 20x9 0mm offset wheels on my 2014 FX4. It has a 2" rough country leveling kit on it already. I am wondering if 285/65R20's would rub or if i would have to trim anything. Also curious as to whether or not this set up would fill out my large fender flares. Please post pics with your comments if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.
