Thanks, I dig it (best thing I've ever owned), you'll love your's, no doubt!

Here's pic of the rear pockets (in between lug holes) on your style rims (2018 double 6-spoke), they are ~3/4" deep...

Cheers, Will G.

Default New Member - Need help with a leveling kit suggestion

Hi guys, I went to Action Truck accessories and was pricing out a leveling kit and they suggested the 2" Rough Country kit which I thought ok no problem. I asked them what tire size can I use on the 2" level in the front and they replied with 305/55/R20 which would keep my factory rims (which i want). So I found 305/55R20 AMP Grippers for a great price. Then it turns out that they said it could give me rub when the wheel is at full crank. I was pissed considering I went out and spent money on tires they said WOULD work with the rough country 2' level.

Now, I know nothing about offsets or whatever but can you guys suggest anything for me? does anyone know if there will in fact be rub? The rough country website says the 2" level works with 33" tires but the tire size i got is just a tad bigger. Any suggestions of level kits that I could use if not rough country that works with my tires would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you're running 305/55/20's on a 2" level with factory wheels, then no it won't rub. It shouldn't even be close.

2.5" Autospring front level, 3" rear Rough Country block kit and 35x11.50r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on factory 20" wheels. NO rubbing at all in any direction! May add 1.25 or 1.5 Bora spacers to widen stance a bit but overall very happy.

Default Wheel spacer help please

Hi guys,

I have installed new tires (305/55R20) on my factory 20" rims on my 2018 Ford F150. Looks great but doesn't give me that slightly aggressive look I'm looking for so I'm in the market for wheel spacers. I've done research and people at performance shops have confused me saying my bolt pattern/thread won't work with most spacers and I have to get adapters. They go on saying that it's suggested to take off tires and re-torque spacers/adapters every other week to ensure wheel doesn't fall off.

I'M JUST SIMPLY LOOKING FOR 1.25" SPACERS that will fit my 2018 F-15 factory rims. Does anyone know of a brand/link or suggestions as to how to accomplish this without the need of buying adapters? I know Rough Country only offers 0.25" spacers and I don't think It's going to get me the look I'm wanting.

Below are pictures of the look i'm looking for (THEY ARE NOT MY TRUCK)...if anyone can help it would be appreciated! Thank YOU

Either Bora or Fred Goeske make high quality spacers

Hi all,

I've got a 2017 XLT Supercrew and I just threw on a 2" Motofab level kit and 285/70/17 BFGR KO2 tires with XD Rockstar II wheels. The install wasn't too bad other than forgetting to tighten everything AFTER the truck is off the jacks. Of course, right away I noticed some clunking in the front end. I went back in, cranked the steering wheel so I could reach behind the tires, sure enough, the sway bar end link nuts were just a little loose on both sides. Long story short, I checked all the other parts that I pulled apart and re-tightened everything. The clunking immediately went away. Lesson learned.

Now to my question for you guys. The suspension sounds great, the tires are quiet and I love the ride, the only issue now is that I am getting a loud clunking from what seems to be coming from the back window area. I am not certain but the noise sounds like its coming from above or around the headrests in the back of the cab. Whenever I hit any bumps, I hear that clunking and I cannot figure out what could be causing it. Its not a rattle, or a squeak and the clunk is consistent with bumps or rough road. I can also say that I had never heard this noise prior to leveling the truck. Unfortunately, I can almost guarantee that Ford won't look it for free (under the warranty) because of the lift... Anyone else experience something like this? Id hate to try pulling out the back upholstery without knowing what to look for.

Thanks for the advice, here of some pics of my setup.

Truck looks great, I put a 2"RC level and the same size BFG's but wit white lettering out. The level out front should not have effected anything around the rear seats for noise, probably a coincidence. The only thing I can think of that is back there is the Jack and tire iron behind the passenger rear seat. That being said, give the backrest of the driver side rear a push, even though there is no reachable release the seat back will fold down, wondering if it is loose in the latching mechanism.

As of Ford not looking at it because of the level, they can not void a warranty on anything that is not directly affected by the level. They may be able to say "Ball Joints wore prematurely because of an angle caused by the level, so we can not warranty them", but they can not claim something along the lines of "Your door latches failed because of the level", two unrelated parts.

There is a known issue with the rear leaf springs fetching up and causing a clunk, not sure if you have seen/heard this one. I simply put some general purpose grease between the leaf and the plastic slider and it went completely away.

Anyway, best of luck! Let us know what you find.
