^ ^ ^ And that's a cool-looking exhaust, too, Bb.
What is your favorite brand O' rattle can, Husker? I want to hose down the pipes on my F150 but the last stuff I tried years ago on another vehicular turned everything dark brown, not black.
I've painted my exhaust pipes & mufflers on vehicle's I've owned for at least the last 20+ years...

I've been locking my FOB in the truck and using the keypad exclusively without issue. Only time I bring in the FOB is if I think I'll use remote start the next morning. Aside from that, it stays in the console.
When I get out, I press 7/8 9/0 at the same time and it locks it. To get in I use my code.

The only issue I ever had was the truck battery going dead and therefore the keypad didn't work and so I was locked out.

Its been several years but I used rustoleum barbecue black or black high heat. Did my brightwork on a 79 TransAm 6.6l with the barbecue black and it still looked great 7 years later.

I don't know if this has been stated on here - didn't see it but it's a long thread.
that nifty fob holder for those of you with pushbutton start - is also there so as to read the chip when the battery is dead.
IE - dead fob battery - you use code to open the door because you have to - push button start = nada. Put the fob in that holder - wait a 3 count and push start. it might flash the screen a moment but it will register and start the car.
Each car has a reader spot - IE explorer's is in the front console - forward wall. For a dead battery - and setting My Key.

Don't know if anyone ever noticed but I found it interesting. When a trailer is hooked up, the quick tap turn signals blink 5 times rather then 3. which leads me to wonder if we can go into ForScan and change it to 5 all the time. I'd personally like it because I feel 3 is just a little short.

I just searched the 2017 manual and found this:

That would be great. I haven't heard this before, but who knows. Possibly could be something new to the 2017s?
