I can't seem to get the [center] head rest off. I can get to the button and push it in but that sucker is stuck!

Yeah I like the under storage too. I temporarily put my gun there when I go to the dealer for something.
I removed my head rest long ago, and don't remember if there are two buttons? one on each post.
I use the holes there for my phone setup. Bent some stainless steel 1/2" tubing in a U shape and slides right into the holes. I attached an articulating phone bracket/holder to that.

There are two locks...
Push the adjustment lock in and extend the headrest all the way out, then on the opposite post, push that lock it to remove it all the way.
I am thinking it's to keep you from pulling it all the way out when just trying to adjust.

My center head rest fits great behind my double back seat. I drilled a hole in my release bracket and then added a crimped cable that goes around the head rest post. Lots of room behind the seat.

I did something similar now. This is my prototype version. I used a 1/2 in aluminum tube and bent it 4 times. since my cell holder arm was pretty short.
Going to see if I can have my buddy bend one for me so the bends aren't kinked. Great mod BTW!
