I was contacted directly yesterday and was sent a test version of the software to try out. This only had 2 days of testing before it was given to me, but wow. This is a night and day difference to the way the old setup reacted. I was able to turn the truck acc mode on and off and the screen reacted every single time. I took the truck for a drive around and got out a few times. This might be the answer. After a few more days with testing it, I will let you know. Cross your fingers.

 

Is this for the 2.2 update ? I thought someone mentioned about exchanging out a module...

Received a new hardware module from Rostra yesterday. Will be installing tomorrow to see the effects on my Sync 3 v.2.2 (updated by USB from downloaded v.2.2 from the thread on this forum.)

Rostra sent module next day air from California after it coming from Asia.

Will it be a new firmware update (Zxlr88) or will it be a module replacement (jdroller) ?

New module from Rostra is flawless at this point! Taking a road trip this week and it will comfirm the hardware.

Awaiting to see what other tests they want to run.

Have not had one black screen on the new module and just tested HDMI today and is great.
