I recently bought the Rostra 250-8455 unit that I was told would work. Once I set it up, the video quality displaying on the screen was awful. Pretty much unusable.
I called Rostra and they told me to get a warranty replacement and that one had the same poor quality video. It shortly after stopped working all together so I’ll be sending back both units.
it’s a shame because I was really looking forward to it and love the on-screen interface it comes with.
My main goal is for a backup camera for my travel trailer and a front facing camera for the truck.
I tried both cameras hooked up to my TV and they looked clear as can be.
It seems Camera-Source no longer sells the Rostra and has their own system. Does anyone have their new version of the interface? Does it have an on-screen menu like Rostra have?

Let me look at the version on one that I have direct from Rostra. I had it installed on my 2016 Lariat and had no problems. I sent all the previous products back to Camera Source. The last product I received from Camera Source was Naviks and not Rostra and this was the product that went with the truck when traded. Send me a DM and I will give you the device I have.
