Will that kit works with Pro Trailer Back up Assist with rear view only?

That question could best be answered by camera-source. Send them a PM here, or through their website.

Question:
Has anyone here installed the OEM front camera into an XLT or XL grille. Or any pictures showing the OEM front camera mounted?

You wont be able to install the factory camera if you have the 5-bar grill. Thats why a couple of us in this thread upgraded to the OE Lariat Sport/King Ranch 3 bar with the factory OE camera hole.

I installed camera-source's yesterday and its indistinguishable from factory. Still documenting so I cant expand more.

EDIT: a word

TexasFording is doing an install of the front/side kit now, and will post a review in due time. He has posted a teaser pic earlier of the side camera.

I have bought the front/side kit, but not installed yet. I will be able to in about a week. Waiting on parts and weather not cooperating.

The front camera kit I originally bought and returned is a surface mount in chrome or black. The instructions that came with it shows it installed on a XLT 5 bar grill. However, it is very "non OEM Looking". I'm changing the grill.

Edit: why are their images always getting micro-sized?

I guess someone can always use the emblem-mounted camera if they dont want to swap grills. It's still missing the point that 02fx wants, which is to be OEM-like.

Yeah, same here. I was surprised to see it on the instructions. Even though I had a three bar Lariat already, I don't care for the look of it on the front surface.

Thanks

I downgraded from the 5 bar XLT to the 3 bar XL, was hoping I could keep it and use the OEM camera and spray nozzle. Haven't been able to find any backside pics of the OEM camera mounted in a higher trim grill. Does the lens look through the oval?
