First impression very happy. I may have a couple of bugs only been messing with it for a couple of hours.

I'm very busy the rest of the week but I'll drop off a couple of pictures for your viewing enjoyment.

Placed the camera button right above the screen, almost looks like it belongs there from the factory, IMO!

USB and HDMI mounted inside the glove box.

Love being able to select whichever camera I want to look at By just tapping the screen, fantastic feature.

I'm not as good with words as some of the members at this site but I do promise I'll give my complete opinion/review after a few days, weeks months etc.

Trying to find a lighting to male HDMI, Apple doesn't make one...Anyone know of a reliable cable?

 

inthinknyou will have to use a lightning to hdmi female dongle and then a male to male hdmi cable

 

I found a cable on Amazon but it received terrible reviews...I wanna be able to use google maps, so I'm off to BestBuy to get exactly what you're talking about, it's the only reliable option I've found (H8 paying Apple's inflated prices-->

A couple of random comments on this for the day:

- I've noticed occasionally when a camera activates automatically the screen does not return you back to your current Sync 3 screen. It'll get stuck on the camera page in the apps menu. The touch screen is not responsive during this if you try to change the page. Activating a camera again seems to fix the glitch and the screen returns to normal.

- FYI to those permanently installing the HDMI and USB cables in the upper glove box. I believe that piece needs to be removed to replace the cabin air filter.

- jdroller, do you have a picture of your front camera trigger button mounted near the push to start switch?
