How did the install go for you in terms of process?

 

LOL, I have been waiting for some finality before I jump on the band wagon.

 

Just got off the phone with Rostra and the "technical " support had no idea what I was talking about.

Very straight forward. Already had the other module and was swapping due to Navigation issues. Took me longer to figure out where to put the module (behind the CD Player) and where to install the interfaces. Installed front manual activation button below the push to start button.

 

What did you ask them?

 

I asked if and when there is an update for sync 3 with the 2.2 So thsts this will work.
Called camera source to see if they had any info and was told they someone from Rostra will be at their facility today.

 

I see there's a note now on Rostra's page indicating it's not compatible w/ Sync 3 2.2. Does anyone know if it will work with Sync 3 2.0? Gonna install this on Friday.

 

Rostra and Canera-source said they tested and support 1.0 - 2.1. Should be good to go.

 

Are they testing version 2.2?
