I'm curious how it turns out, in functionality. I was thinking about adding a rear cam. But the dealer won't add the cam or nav. As for the front cam thought about using the 4Low switch like the raptor.

I use the front camera everyday. Would hate to have to switch to 4L to do so. I use the camera for parking more than anything.

Wanted to posts pics of where I mounted the HDMI and USB interfaces on the new Rostra module.

Nicely done!

Did you had to remove the trim piece or did you drill thru them right in place ?

Drilled in place. I actually hit the lower connection on the lower trim connector. If you moved them closer, you could fit both between the two lower connectors. You drill a 1.25" hole and the interfaces have a slightly larger trim to cover the edges. Covered in Masking tape before I drilled.

I don't like hearing that, I've been looking forward to 2.2.

Which system do you have that Sync 3 v2.2 won't work with? The newer Rostra one or the original system camera-source.com used?

Yes, me too. Everything installed and awaiting the fix. Supposed to be late this next week.

For the one who asked earlier, the original module works with v.2.2 but the Rostra does not.
