Thinking
I did with the 98 if it was the least bit icy, always. The back end can kick out too easy if not. Always stay in the center lane, it's the best lane for even pace. You got crazy's to left flirting with disaster and the welkers on the right which is consistently - slow down and speed back up. Yea, I used it quite a bit in the winter, more so on the e-way.
If the roads are untouched and we've got more than an inch or two I will run in 4x4 because yeah the rear likes to get loose easily lol (twss?). But if they've been treated or gettin plowed I stay in 2wd and if I'm at a dicey intersection will shift into 4x4 for the takeoff just so I don't spin too much.
Thanks AK, I probably should of saved that one for the john..bad timing on my part, eisshhh.
Yes says 55 in the manual. I've been at 65 in 4wd, I just won't SOTF at that speed.
The polar vortex didn't really affect the temps here. It was actually pretty bearable during that stretch. It was actually colder yesterday, our high was around 28... that's the highest I saw on my phone anyway.
One of my high school friends lives up in Park City, which is an elevation of 7000 feet, and he got almost 5 feet on his back deck.
Oh,,, yeah, I was thinking 55 was top recommended speed. Mine not ESOF, so I gotta be at a stop, lol.
