Lol.... I opened them up, but didn't take pics. I'll have to get some. Wasn't really happy with the way they were packed, I do know that. But they are ok, just would have used some more bubble pack, myself.

Definitely would expect more than just bubble wrap for those, rather not have bubble crap at all lol. Did they ship from professional supplier ? Shipping can be everything with something like that. Hope they're okay white.

They look OK. I bought them from a user on The Corral. He shipped them in boxes that GT40X heads came in, so I figured we'd be OK. But yeah, it coulda been better for sure.

Yeah, they are in great shape. Not bad for 550 shipped. They are 180cc heads. Both intake and exhaust ports are roomy for sure.

I'm down to just the little stuff now.... I need a harmonic balancer. That's been rough to find for a deal, lol.

Good Saturday morning, all. Time to roll up the hoses and winterize the power washer. It's getting a bit nippy at night, with overnight lows forecast to dip to the mid-twenties this week. I need to change out the bar on the ATV plow, and put on some new skids, too. . Not quite ready to install it yet, but it's time to get prepped for the white stuff.

White, I think those will flow just a little bit better than the GT-40P's would have. Looks like a good buy.

Pioneer and Romac seem to be the go-to balancer brands I remember. Of course you can spend as much on a HB as you did the heads if you want.

I'm looking at the PB1060SS for this project. I want to get an SFI rated piece, so that means it has to be solid IIRC. Don't think the rubber balancers will be SFI.

I keep thinking.... there is nothing wrong with my 302, other than it leaks oil from every orifice possible. So.... I wonder how that would sound in a little Yaris? LOL.

I hear yuh , been cold and rainy here. There's a front moving through now, lightning, thunder pounding rain. It's not often I can hear the rain hitting the shingles up above lol.

We are dipping down into the 30's at night next week, nothing below freezing. The 20's don't seem right in Colorado this time of year...they might be.

It's 48 degrees right now. Right now is the first time the furnace has seen action in a while. Also got the pilot light ready for the gas fireplace. We have a 50% chance of rain today. I hope it holds out at least until the afternoon.... I've got some roofing repairs to do on the shop. My Brother is supposed to be here in 20 minutes or so to help me out.

The kids saw a hornets nest on the roof/ceiling and decided to try and hit it down with some wood.... well, that poked a hole right through it all. GRRRRR.

It was 33 when I posted that, Brew. In years past we've had a bit of snow by now. That's life at 9000'.
