LOL.... are we going to cut it in half, or put a line down the middle? I want the side with the shidder.
Got the motor on a stand today, then dug a little deeper into it. Only took two trips to True Value to get the right bolts. I had some 7/16" from that 360 I got with the stand, and they thresded in fine by hand. But it turns out, Ford manned up and used 1/2" bolts. Anyway... got as far as I wanted to for now. It looks pretty dang good inside.

Oh I like two trips, that works out to carts of extras.
Well if want the shidder, that side has furnace, water heater, pump and 1 AC. Plus the entry door and steps. More less a master bedroom/bath.
The other side has opposing slides fridge, stove, FP and free standing dinette. I guess I can throw yuh an axle, but that would be an extra.
Either side would be good enough in the outback. I'll work with yuh white lol.

AdrianP - Landed a nice one, purchasing new is the way to go with these things...unless you want a project. Very difficult to find a used one that's be maintained/stored correctly in the off season.. Wish to hell I would of went with that size, that's how it started out. Yea, should of stuck to those guns. Lesson learned. Nice job!

He said it has 150K on it. Very believable.... in fact I would say it was overstated if he's off. I can still see the crosshatches in every cylinder.

Hey, AK (or anyone else): Have you ever used Slip Plate on an ATV snow blade? I'm looking for something semi-permanent that I can just touch up occasionally rather than Pledge/Pam/WD-40 etc.I could just repaint it with gloss black, but think this stuff might be just as durable and a heck of a lot slicker. (If I remember correctly, this is the same stuff we used to use on missile test stands, and it wore like iron.)
P.S. - White, that motor looks *really* good. I think you have a great base to start with.
- Adrian, that looks like a nice little home away from home. I take it there aren't many RV dealers on that side of the pond.

Before the new Ceramic Waxes, most of the guys painted their blades with Imron (airplane paint). Now most are using the wax. Nothing seems to stick to it. Dirty snow, nothing.
Adrian. Kewl little pull coach. Winnebago does good quality products.
Whitey...fun fun fun. I like what you have to work with. Should make some great power.

White: if that 150K was 50K you could probably get away with a quick clean-up and go, but yeah, I understand the urge.
AK: Thanks. I was surprised to not find loads of people using the graphite stuff. There must be a reason I guess I'll give it a few coats of Rustoleum's "professional" finish, then wax it real well in a couple of months. Hopefully I won't have to use it in the interim. (Not gonna hold my breath, though )

Cheers Ohio,
There are places over here but nothing really worked for our situation, It's just me & my elderly mum who I care for. and everything over here had either a bed and a dinette that you had to make up each night or bunks & a dinette to make up where as this has a bed, bunks & a dinette we can use and the extra access door with lift up bunk will be perfect to store her mobility buggy in
Thanks AK,
I know we could have found something cheaper but yup, I decided if I'm bringing something over, it might as well be (hopefully) a bit better quality
It should be moving to Baltimore in the next few days and then onto a boat for a nice (calm???) sail over to the UK
Once here, it needs the rear lights changing, a parking brake fitting & a step down transformer installed and then it should be ready to go

I'm officially officially done with skylar. Now he's back to using both usernames posting the same problem. I at least thought he was done playing games and sticking with 10thgenfnatic... I continue to report his threads to the mods asking them to block him from using multiple usernames... (I'm tired of him just filling up the forum with crap) they haven't don't anything in the last few months... seems like they are sleeping on the job. Disappointed in whoever has been assigned to the 10th gen section as they've been on a long coffee break.
