Then the hole in the hood ? Perhaps a 671 from Santa....time constraints are prime for it lol.

Nice find, White! That should be a nice starting point.
I also love deals where you get something you want, something(s) you don't, and sell off the undesirables for more than you paid for everything. We all need more deals like that!

Soooo.... if any of you see any SBF heads for sale, let me know. I'd prefer AFR's.

Six Budget Ford heads lol.

Will those fit the 302, does the 302 have the same bore spacing ? I can't remember.

The heads will work on either. However the 351 uses 1/2 studs/head bolts and the 302 uses 7/16. So if I found 302 heads, I could use them provided the holes get drilled out.

400 hp is pretty easy on a 351 with the right heads and cam. So I need to look for a cam too, but I'd like to get the heads first to know what I need for lift, etc.

Ohhhh.... and obviously the 351 uses a taller pushrod. I'm going to be able to use my roller rockers off the 302, so I will just swap the stamped rockers off the 351, lol. They are the same that was on the Mustang factory as well as the heads (E7TE casting).

Well, I know you could mount 51 heads on the older 289's after the head bolt mod.

Regardless, good luck , you'll find a set. 400 is good number, goal for NA. It's like a high hurdle though from what I recall, in $$$$ signs. 380 much easier.

EDIT: Crap, didn't see your last before posting.

Yea, I'm probably thinking about the 330 with a set of heads afa the 400#.

Good evening thinkers- i know, im late- just checking in and catching up- i had an epidural steroid shot in my back today- just a tune up!- all went well- just been resting today
White, you had a Ranger, right?- my sister bought an ‘01 for my nephew- and the alarm system is spastic!
she has rattled off different things its doing, ( i cant remember it all)
i think she needs to get the keys reintroduced to the PATS. (?) -am i thinking right?- she was told it sat idle for a couple of years, so the battery went dead during that time.
anyway- its late, ill fill you in some more later if she has no sucess. Thanks, good night, peace to all!

Y'all have any recommendations for wheel dolleys? I have a jack so they don't HAVE to be hydraulic. Just looking for a cheap way to make life easier when the Highboy gets back into the garage.
