Great question. Never understood the appeal some people have for them. I thought the hydraulic jumping with cars was stupid, but I understood how it would appeal to some. Donk's? Don't understand that one at all.

I have some friends I use to work with in Argentina and if I can, I'd like to make the drive again. When I did it in the mid 90's I had to take 5 gallon cans of gas for some remote areas. That may have changed by now though. There were also some areas where I had to stop that I would have preferred not to. Turned out OK but first impressions didn't suggest "OK".

 

Yea I bet you took your life into your hands driving through central and south America. But damn, that sounds fun

 

Fixed (hopefully) a thermostat housing leak for the 3rd time

Got the new (old oem) radiator support tossed in, and hooked the system back up. Still need to fill it up with coolant. Tossed the face back on the truck so she's tucked in for winter. Still have a few winter to dos left but they will be expensive.
Rest of the garage got cleaned up too

So I'm racist because of my opinion of the vehicles? Nonsense. I don't like the look of bagged vehicles that sit on the ground when they're parked. What does that one make me? I thought that too so I read the article (knew what a donk was, hated it too lol) and the interviewee says that people hate donks cz they are racist ... casual racists he says lol
