Also if anyone needs another youtube channel to watch.. this one is very impressive. https://www.youtube.com/c/CuttingEdg...ralia/featured A guy from Australia who fixes heavy equipment parts. Its not action packed but Ill be damned if I cant stop watching. He does some amazing work.
2100 - All else being equal, more driver cone area and more excursion are typically better, but more important is having the driver(s) and enclosure sizes matched to each other. If the full-size 10's are in the correct size box, that would probably be my choice. That said, though, I'd hesitate to simply enlarge the seat-bracket holes unless you can be sure it won't weaken the mount points and you can add good, heavy washers under the bolt heads.

That was my hesitation ... I dont want to weaken the rear seats since I will have 2 of the most important people in the world in those seats. Just makes me hesitate. Wish they could just make the box a smidge smaller so I didnt have to. Might email them and see if they can do that. Otherwise yeah plan was to buy 2 subs that work in the air space of the first box. Just hate the 2 10 box is $100 more than the 1 13 considering its the same box basically... they just cut a second hole in it.
For the music that I listen to, 10's offer more. They are quicker than 12's, 15's, etc. and therefore have more "punch". Mike Portnoy's drums come through much better on 10's.
Back in my "I want to ruin my hearing by listening to bass music" days, 15's were great. I still have those 15's, BTW. Man could those things slap!
Weird.... earlier today Steeda sent me an email that the headlights I just ordered are on backorder with an unknown ship date. I was debating because they clear headlights are out of stock everywhere I've looked. I chose Steeda because their website says they have them in stock...
Fast forward 5.5 hours... and I get this:
I was really hoping to have them for Saturday's show, but it says I won't see them until next Thursday. At least I'll have them for the All Ford Show on May 8th.
2100, watching that is mesmerizing... almost knocked off right here in my chair, LOL.
It blows my mind what that guy can repair. He also clearly takes pride in his work which is great to see.
Also was checking the FORD tracker today and to my surprise the truck was delivered first thing in the morning... 2 weeks early! Couldn't be happier with the purchase!
Got an email from the valve body place last night.... they offered me a 40 dollar partial refund, and I can keep the valve body. Declined!
They are dodging the "remanufactured" question. I don't know if Ebay limits the characters on their response, or maybe they cut it off somehow. They say it is "inspected". That's not a reman. Hell, this wasn't even ran through a parts cleaner.
I ordered a brand new, Borg Warner OE, solenoid block for it yesterday. I'd really like to find a valve body that I know is new or reman'd now.
Makin a salvage yard run to Detroit this morning, just the place I want to go. Need to pick up a rear door for a Mercury Milan for my brothers kid. 90 miles one way. This should be fun lol.
