Looks like a nice find, White.

To bad about the guy on the story, and I'd feel awful if I was one of the people who now realize that that wasn't a piece of retread or something they hit last night.

No doubt. Me and my Buddy were talking about that last night. I want to get the full story on it. I am friends with the reporting officer.... might have to ask him more if the media doesn't report it, LOL. But yeah... glad it was a morning I wasn't going to work or I would be wondering if I hit something. Although, westbound would be on my way home.

That is a good deal...I've got a red one just like it and pretty sure I paid way more than $90. It sure beats an A frame and come-along any day. I lost one of those pins that holds up the legs at some point, sure sucks when you're moving it and the leg comes crashing down.

I bet that does suck. You could always make one of of 5/8 stock, or whatever it is. I'm already planning on beefing this up a bit.... making the boom a little sturdier and a couple inches longer. This will be tough to get the truck motor in and out..... but I really want to cut the core support on his truck. It's fiberglass.... so it's not that strong. On the wrecked F150 he bought, that thing shattered.

I found some long hitch pins online recently that I think will go into the leg holes. I'm new to these trucks so I haven't tried to use the lift on anything that high up, probably wouldn't reach up that far. Last time I used mine was swapping out the A/C condenser on my Grand Prix. It has upper motor mounts that have to come out to get at the radiator and condenser. Worked like a charm and was a better option than supporting the motor from below.
