Is that a Leer shell? If so, there's a good chance they still have it available. I have that piece on mine too.... looks identical from what I can see.

Couldn't ask for better myself, - peaceful, great scenery and feeding the fish. Life is just fine.

Yes indeed, very peaceful night. I was right by the water inlet too, so it sounded beautiful as well.... I only saw one guy get anything, and he was fly fishing. I need to learn the technique. I know a fairly notorious fly fisherman (locally, anyway) and I ought to get some pointers from him, and buy some gear.

Beautiful pic, Whitey- THAT is serenity!- i missed some conversation lately- been busy- dad went to the ER sat. morn., - diagnosed with pneumonia, ended up with septis- sun. night they life flighted him to osu hosp. in columbus- hes been in icu up there since-
hes just hanging on, but the drs. say he is improving internally- white count is coming down(good), lungs are clearing out (good)- its just a time thing now.
drs. are fairly certain this has been manifesting itself for a while- it just got to a point where his body couldnt hold it off any longer- ( stubborn old fart wouldnt make a drs. appt. 2 wks. ago!) so, keep him in your prayers, fellers- i sure would appreciate it!-
Been driving ol’ blue up to the hospital- trying to navigate the ol’ girl in a parking garage is a treat!
havent checked gas milage- quick mental calculations- refill gallon/miles- it seems around 15- maybe a bit more- and thats with some innercity driving-
hope you guys have a great weekend-

That one should be framed, Whitey!

Evidence that the worst day fishing can be better than the best day working.

Sorry to hear about your father Bear. Prayers sent. Pneumonia is a nasty one, I caught that bug once in my 30's. Working crazy hours at the time, the immune system took a dive. Messed up the lungs for awhile, but most memorable was when the weakness set in. That's what knocks you flat. It was also first time I was too sick to work, got a little history with that one. Shoot, I was young and that one took me down for awhile. It can be much more serious when your older.

Glad to hear the whites are down, lungs clearing. Excellent news !

I know a guy who has a fishing guide business here. Never "works" a day in his life!

Glad he's on the mend, Bear.
My parents are getting up in age, and things like this get one thinking. I'm 1400 miles away from them, and wish I wasn't. (The ONLY thing about being out here I don't like is being far from family.)
