Brew.... buffering with Century Link, happened all the damn time. The problem with DSL is, if you are not close to their CL's building, it's really shoddy. I was less than a mile from their building at my old house, and I really enjoyed great bandwidth most of the time. But I will say this, Comcast has blown them completely out of the water so far. With CL, I could stream one device and that was it. I have had several things streaming at once with Comcast, and it takes every bit of it. For instance, right now I am streaming Sling, the Wife is playing something on Youtube, and the kids are listening to music on the Echo Dot. All of that, and I just did a speed test, and this is what I get every time I run it, no matter what is streaming. No bogging down whatsoever.... oh, and did I mention my service I pay for is actually a 25 megabit connection? It has never once gone below that on a test.

That said though.... I have a business account, and I'm not sure how much that plays into what I am experiencing.

Today I decided to use my Amazon gift card from Father's Day. I ordered the Depo fog lamps for lil Red. The oem left is shot at the adjusters, and just the one replacement is within $13 of a set of Depo's, why not got with the clears for more light.

I'd make the same move, AK, especially lsince I have the L heads. My factory units are still OK, though, and there are currently better places to spend the dough.

I was hoping one of you with a styleside bed could do me a favor, and you send me (or post) pics of the driver's side of your tailgate. Dee Zee is telling me their tailgate strut won't fit my flareside because "The mounting locations are not there on those trucks." The only difference I can see is I'd need to drill a hole in the tailgate bracket, but maybe I'm missing something.

Pics as below for direct comparison would be helpful.

Thanks.

Pretty sure that is where mine was.... but I thought that thing was a POS. It broke in just a couple of months of very limited use. I was not at all impressed. In fact, I called and complained, so they sent me a new one - and I sold it, LOL. I have scratches on my truck from that thing. But if nobody gets you a pic before I get home, I'll snap a couple pics for you. It does look the same to me though.

I'll be damned.... as soon as I sent that off to you, I decided to check my photobucket for pics. Looks like it went in a completely different spot than what you and I are thinking from your pic. I think I still have the ball installed.

Here's an issue I ran in to on mine... this bolt for the hanger busted on me and I had to drill it out.

Thanks! And nope, that's exactly where I thought it would go. My guess is that there's a pre-existing hole there in the slab-side tailgate, right? If so, I'd only need to drill one myself and install the nut-sert in it (unless I'm missing something). Your durability issue gives me pause, though. Was it that ball/bolt that broke or something else?

The insert came loose on me, twice. And I tightened the holy hell out of it too.

So, red loctite on the nut-sert. Check.

But where/what is this?

It's where the cable attaches to the bed. This pic was it before I broke it. (you can see the outline from the washer in the pic you asked the question about)
