I did too and tried to give him my opinion ( he asked..) i was a bit terse, but i answered the phone, so to speak, but when he rattled off unrealistic prices... cut it off and excused myself-
I wonder if its ignorance or arrogance with these youngsters?-

I couldn't agree more. IT has gotten out of hand. Try and help someone, and they know more about the question than we do, and they've never worked on the problem themselves. If you notice, I help a few with wiring pdf's and such, but my involvement has slowed to a crawl this week, and I'm answering a lot less questions.

Between our bunch of regular members, we've tried to help. These newbies ( don't know what else to call them ), are all fully informed, so they think, and don't want to hear bad things about their rides. When they screw up, we try and help. I think I'm going to stick with our bunch and say the hell with most of the others.

I've been argued with so many times lately, WHY answer?

I would have to agree with yall. I'm not as experienced as yall are but I do have a fair bit of information rattling around up here. I know a lot of the newbies can be *** hats but I try to get through to some of the others before they go to the dark side.

And thats kinda the way i see it- try to be decent and helpful and hopefully they will catch on.
I suppose some of its brought on by the fact that most youngsters today dont have face to face communication skills.

Good Morning.

They may not have the face to face skills for communicating, but the sure have the smart azzediness down to a science. Some take direction well, others want to argue, complain, and bitch about things. This is why I've taken a step back. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but damn, at least my blades are still fairly sharp. At least I think so.

Rant over.

Not taken as a rant, AK, just conversation, I myself, enjoy reading your posts, and like to read about others projects and solutions to issues. That helps the learning curve!
