Yea, had me concerned....thought you may have fell victim to that Doc Eyequack scam. Nah, lol.

Well, here to work on the truck...actually been here for awhile now and haven't touched it. Daughter needs to cut the grass. I haven't put the mower deck on yet...took the snowthrower off last week. She's panicking, soooo...said either you can change the oil in the tractor, grease it up then hook up the mower deck. Orrr, I can while you pick up all the sticks and other shrapnel winter left behind. Choose the ladder, - shouldn't take long though lol. Think I might stay out here for a few days....try the trailer out lol. Mamas happy, went to a get away last weekend, so...shouldn't mind if I get away from the Ponderousa for awhile LOL. Yea , we will see lol.

White, perhaps you should eye-patch it for a few days ? Just as a precaution, while the thinker is making adjustments.

Anybody have recommendations on where to rent a trailer to move the Highboy? My usual trailer is out of commission. Everybody I have called claims they don't sell a trailer big enough.... what does Joe Schmo do when he needs to move an truck? Lol

Construction trailer, probably. You should of told them you were going to move an old Mustang body across town. They would of rented you a trailer. How far you have to move it?

I forgot to mention also. UHaul here, will not rent you a trailer like needed without at least a 3/4 ton truck when you come get the trailer. I tried 4 different places and got rejected on all of them. If I'd had a 3.5EB one, I could of rented it they said. No other 1/2 tons. (That was 2 years ago before Dodge's diesel) The next morning I went and rented one, arriving in my neighbors 3/4 ton. No problem. I took it home and used my truck to transport the Fusion to the valley. Sometimes you have to be creative. I also found out, I could rent the 14ft car trailer, with a 1/2 ton, as long as you say you are using it to transport a side by side or a couple 4 wheelers and stuff. You can move a lot of different vehicles with that length trailer. lol

Yeah I know I need to be vague when renting lol but I needed to make sure the trailer was big enough for the truck. Lengths were usually fine but outside tire to outside tire is 6.5ft so I need a wide enough trailer.

Yeah I've got an f250 to do the hauling. I've heard they are strict when it comes to that lol. I'm going 3hrs north. Original plan was a dolley from uhaul cz their website gave me that as the only option. I would prefer to trailer it the whole way tho. And that's what I've been lookin for here recently.

Don't see why you couldn't use them, jeeezz man have yuh even tried, called around lol. Pensky might have one, even depot or lowes MIGHT have one. Google it damn you!

Called 5 equipment rental places. Also Called uhaul, United, Penske, Ryder, and one other... no one has a trailer wider than 6ft. Like I said truck measures 6.5ft from outside tire edge to outside tire edge.

2100.....sounds like you are going to have to put stock sized tires/rims on that bad boy to move it. Damn the luck.

UHaul up here is really hard to rent trailers from. Too many have been destroyed over the years. I saw 3 one summer between Anchorage and the valley. LOL Damn trailer whip, then crash and burn.
