That was what I read online was to just have plexi cut to fit it.

Also he just texted and said it was a century

Century is a good shell. Century, Leer, Lund, and many others are on a lot of our trucks. I have a Century on Blue, and the tonneau on lil Red is a Leer. I also have a Lund for an OBS 6' ft and a tonneau (unknown origin). So many shells and tonneau's up here. It's hard to keep up with all the brands and former brands. I may have which is on which wrong, but I have the 3 brands. LOL

I think it would be a great thing to use after patching a panel, especially on the weld areas. At some point, I need to get to my core support as well. I suspect it will be a long, drawn out process.... and I've got a couple things coming up that I need the old girl for.

What are you using to blast the bed?

I think I have some Black beauty aluminum oxide maybe, pretty sure, - it's on a pallet in storage lol. Well, I'm going try what I have. I bid on it , didn't expect to get it, ended up with it. Solar company went out of biz, a lot of off the wall stuff at that auction. Had some very high end WATTS filtration set ups for compressed air systems. Desiccant (silica gel) systems for painting, plasma and blasting. Totally capitalized, a lot of the stuff wasn't listed for auction, it was a last minute thing, right time right place which doesn't happen too often. I know I showed you pictures of the set-ups, well at least one of the three I built. Regardless, I kept the hi-lo busy that day lol.
Anyway, aluminum oxide media, -it's pretty versatile stuff. Not quite carbide or sharps. The frame is pretty caked, just the welds get blasted on the bed and the underside. I'll have to test it on body metal first, then maybe aluminum (for rims) if it doesn't beat up the metal too bad.
Have a couple rolls of heavy mil visqueen I can use for a paint booth. Make a frame out of sch 40 pvc, 2" I expect. Cheapest way to go for a good and temp booth. Might use it for blasting, if I can reclaim the media and use it over again. That'll depend how much comes off and how quick lol. I'd rather blast outdoors.

Yea, -it's was hard to judge or rate if she liked something..I mean a lot or in this case enough. She kept repeating it was nice, smiling away, excited and playing along. This place had RV hook-ups, while voicing plans for the place, -we could set the trailer up here for unwanted guests and such...guess I was on a roll for a bit, to cut it short. BUT, -turned out, she was happy because I found something I liked. Mann, why doesn't she just come out with it ? I guess I already answered that. Anyway, still on the hunt. Right place, right location...not much to choose from. I'm watching everything, foreclosures as well. You did well white, jackpot find for you guys ehh..

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it. Wish we could have bought it while the market started soaring here in Utah. My friends Mother just put a house up for sale in Idaho.... it's about 6 or 7 years old, 3800 square feet, pretty decent sized property, for about the same price I paid for mine. I don't want to live in ID though, lol. Utah or Colorado is all I'd want to do. I have a hard time reading my Wife too.... there was a house we looked at that I quite liked - the whole house had been remodeled, and it was 4 levels. She didn't like it, but didn't say a word until we were in the car, lol. I coulda saved myself a good 1.5 to 2 hours talking to the guy about the history of the house, etc. had she just said something. Oh well...

It was on a street called Fox Run, and I was like "this was meant to be" because I'm a Fox Body lover, LOL.

I've got a POE switch for phones that I gotta repair on Saturday. At least one fan is dead in it. It'a a rack mount, so I need to pull it out to fix it, which means unplugging 48 RJ-45 jacks..... should be some fun. Hahahaha. Hope it all comes back up OK.

Fox Run Fox body.. lol. Why didn't the wife feel the same way ? See, I don't get that ?? Women.

LOL. Yea, I kept disconnecting a POE switch while working on the DT last week lol. It all intersects/comes together at the DT in the office and at a bulky surge protected power block. Think there's 6 or 7 45's connected. It's too easy flipping the power block switch. POE is connected to it lol. Everything came back up fine but yea, I wasn't cutting 50 lines either lol. I'm just glad all the clocks in the house weren't connected to it....that would bite.

LOL... I hate resetting clocks too. I wish this POE wasn't rack mounted, or I would swap the fans out while the switch is still live. Damn screws are under the frame on the rack though.

I was child once, well, a younger one, -I got blamed for power outages. Communist Basted Blinking Clocks...got me every time. Missing one or two on the reset before mom and dad got home. They would actually move them around on me. Same thing happens today, just, everything is much smaller.

LOL... when I was a kid, we'd go shut our neighbors power off on them. I suspect that'll get me with karma someday.

When I was in the Air Force, these guys would always play their stereo too loudly. One evening, I asked them twice, politely, to turn it down. Shortly thereafter, they turned it back up again, so I flipped their breaker. Maintenance didn't come to reset it until the next morning.
