I hope everyone had a great Christmas and had fun with friends and family. My daughter, SIL or grand kids weren't here this year, so it left my son and I to fend for ourselves. We made out okay for a couple bachelors.

lil Red did well for gifts from my kids though. They gave me a 30 inch curved Cree LED light bar (Thanks to the write up of the01kingranch that I purposely left open on my computer screen). It will go behind the grille as the write up showed. Thanks for the write up 01.

Red also got new frt/rear shocks and brake pads, and a pair of 18w LED cubes. When it warms up, I'm going to be busy for a bit.

Good morning fellars. On Christmas Eve, we had zero snow accumulation at all. Christmas morning, I woke up to this mess...

My snow blower had quite the workout. While I was out there, I waved at my next door neighbor (the a-hole). He started yelling about the fence.... but with lots of expletives. I was calm, and just told him it was his actions that made it go up and that he had control of when it comes down. I got several F U's, and he is so mentally stupid that I doubt it will sink in for him... so I'll keep telling him until he wants to act like an adult.

Anyway, Merry Christmas, albeit a day late.

We had about 8" last week. The tractor has killer snowthrower in front of it, after a few mods anyway lol. Was blowing snow off and on for about 28 hrs before I was totally whipped.
Looks like you had twice that, I'd be in creeper gear throwing that much unless it was dry. We had wet heavy snow here, it's usually what we get. Hell it's all melting now lol.

Happy Holidays White, you know, your neighbor looks close enough to gift him your snow with a good blower...bury that guy with the Christmas spirit lol.

Brew, I'd bet a good 4 inches already melted today.... it's a skating rink outside right now. What tractor do you own? I'm kinda getting into tractors lately.

So, I went out this morning to warm up the F150, and the neighbor started mumbling something at me about how hard he's trying. I went over and just heard what he had to say about living here for X amount of years, etc. Then he started in about the fence.... I calmly (and believe me, it was very hard for me to do) explained to him that the fence went up because of the way he had treated my Wife, and because I knew my dog was barking at him and bothering him. I told him that I was trying to make it easier on him, not upset him. I also told him I'd take it down if he could behave like an adult. Once I explained that, he stuck out his hand and apologized for everything.... also said he'd stop yelling at my Wife. I offered to help him shovel his snow, and also to borrow my snow thrower. Didn't do either, but I offered. Later in the day he came over and made chit chat about his new bike he got, and was rather pleasant.

Not sure if this is just a phase, or just what the hell. But, I feel progress has been made. That damn fence is butt ugly, and I want it to come down... LOL. So, I hope he's a man of his word. Regardless, I think I've found the way to reach him.

Iduno, I wouldn't let him off easy. Except the apology, but fill his drive with snow regardless, - and paint the fence.
I have a Deere pusher with a 54" modified turbine snow thrower. It'll throw everything from wet snow to a garden full of adult pumpkins...slice and dice.

Damn White. 16 inches of snow overnight. Wow. In the past two years, our totals for the YEAR were 25 inches in 14, 30 in 2015. You got over 1/2 of our totals for the year in one night. I hope it melts quickly for you to get around.

JBrew....I like how you think. Getting even or getting ahead is something I'm sure you have down. lol.

Bear....Good luck with your surgery on Thursday. I know you will come out of it in a better situation. Get well soon buddy.

JP....take some time off and smell the flowers. oh wait, that is in the spring. Ok, just relax and take it easy for a couple days.

Happy New Year everyone.

Right, he already burned the considerate bridge, so he wouldn't get that regardless. That's a bridge he has to reconstruct and it would take time. No I wouldn't instigate lol, -wouldn't give him the time of day, face to face anyway. Consideration is for grown ups and good folks...basically a normalcy wave-link.

Happy Holidays!

I wish we would get 2' of snow here. Might sound crazy but I like that weather. I absolutely hate the salt they use here though, the truck hates it more. I used a more expensive undercoating after prepping the front end well and the salt has already cut right through it in spots. Following behind vehicles on the expressway the front end gets blasted with the stuff. PITA to keep that stuff off of truck. Have to rinse the front end off at the power wash close to home before parking it. If I don't....
