I €™m going to find some good speakers to finish out my surround sound at some point but honestly do not need them with this setup. My old one is a Panasonic 5.1 from bestbuy in the early 2000s.
Oh remember looking at that system way back when. Ended up going with a pioneer 5.1 that lived through college and is still running to this day.

Yep this one is still going strong too. It may go back with the tv and the vintage setup may get moved to the office... haven’t decided yet lol

haha yep my little brother is using mine during his residency atm. I did have to solder a new power cord after a squirrel ate the original though. Country life... right? Lol

I rode out my old Sony receiver I bought back in high school until we moved. My Brother gave this HK receiver to me when he bought a new Onkyo about 18 months ago. But yeah... free stuff rocks, LOL.

Speaking of free and high school... I posted a picture of my snow blower on FB last night and a friend from high school said he has one just like it with a broken axle, so he told me to come take it for spare parts. I'm stoked!

BTW, I really like Sony TV's, blu ray players, and home audio..... but I despise their car audio. Every Sony car audio component I bought was absolute garbage. I am all in on Pioneer for car audio. Their stuff never lets me down!!

This is not mine... but the same thing. It has some muscle.... Never got it past 4 on the dial, LOL. It's rated at 60W X 4, but yeah.... it seems underrated.

So I just made it through my first tank of gas without towing since airing my tires up to 60 front and 55 rear and it came out to 15.8 mpg. I am pretty stoked right now.

Great JP and you have a 5.4 right? I got 18,9 on my trip to Fairbanks this summer coming back. I only got 15 something going up there. This is driving thru the Alaska Range (mountain system that Mt. Denali is part of), so I didn't expect that good, and that was running 70 or better the whole trip (375 miles each way). I make the trip on one tank of gas, but there isn't a hell of a lot left in the tank when I get there. I usually fill up just outside town. It's always .04-.05 cheaper, and I need the fuel, so why not. lol

Well, I was wrong. I thought we talked about everything, but find we didn't. ROFL. Ok, who wants to talk plumbing. Have we talked about that yet?

Since the snow has fallen (3 inch total this year), but it's cold enough for it to stay, I won't be doing much on lil Red this winter. I did order a new speedometer face in white with red numbers, so that I can probably do that. Everything else is a springtime item or early summer. My 5.4 is ready to drop in, and I might still have that done this winter. My buddy owes me big time, and he is a mechanic, so I might just make him pay up and put that in lil Red. With that being done, I'll basically have a new truck. Everything is done, with exception of e-brake replacement, new windshield (bought one for $75 from a buddy, still new in the travel box and with the Butyl seal and he's a glazer, so no cost install), and the motor. It's nice to have friends who owe you, at least they come in handy once in a while.

AK, mine is a 5.4 with 34s and 3.55s. I got to use 4wd for a mile or two yesterday so I figured in would kill my mileage but it wasn't too bad. I couldn't imagine getting 18 in any of the 10th gens I've had.

When you get the gauge faces in would you mind taking a picture? Might look good with my red truck too.

JP....this is the face I'm going to use in lil Red. They make a blue also, which I considered for Blue, but I won't be keeping 2 trucks, so I'm not going to change anything. Besides, other than the towing mirrors and shell and wheels, it's stock. I like this one, as it doesn't show all the face names, like some do, and uses them under the face. Much better than having an AWD label on your truck that doesn't have AWD. lol

It usually is easier to sell something that isn't modded than one that is, at least around here. I'm sure it is different where ever one might live. I'll post pics when I change the face and with it in the truck. This will give you an idea of the face.

I really like that idea. I've been contemplating a red led swap but I think I'm leaning toward an hid retrofit instead. Who am I kidding I need to do the trans, t-case, and axle swap on my b2... I may have too much going on. Lol
