Lubeguard green is something I've used before with good results. I thought that you could use the III in with regular Mercon, but not with V. The only reason I would have 2 cases (23 bottles) of the stuff would be for my Ford trucks. I only have a GM motorhome, but have never worked on that other than adding an awning.

Lil Red has V in it's E40D. It was a full and complete fill, including the torque converter, so I've made notes in my owners manual, stating V is in it and the replaced mileage etc. Blue has Mercon so it will get the III for the filter change.

Thanks Whitey. I was fairly sure I was right. I hate all the crap on the net, one says yes, others say no, and then they say you can mix V with anything. I didn't think that was right, but why not ask someone who works on them, since I normally don't, unless it's mine. I've stated before, I don't have a rating on AT's but do have on manual and rear ends. I just never liked AT's, but find that should of been a bigger thing on my list.

Anyone here good with hooking up old home theater equipment? I know it’s usually straight forward, and I don’t have a problem with my newer system but I’m just confused on this one.

Sooo.... the Stang was giving me the sad eyes again today. So I started her up... and made a video. Yeah.... these Fox Body's have a lot of water (condensation) that comes out of the exhaust when it's cold.

I think I’ve got it figured out, finally got my buddy on the phone (the one who gave the system to me) anyway... I’ll be tuning it in in the next few days... well I’ve never done it before so if you got any tips on that I’d appreciate it. Anyway, let me know what you think of the setup. 2 S-917 sansuis a polk audio center channel and an onkyo tx-sr505 receiver with a mb quart sub front facing

In "Most" rooms, the sub sounds louder and more vibrant - as well as less distortion if placed all the way in a corner, FYI.

Other than that, just looking at it... it looks nice. Are those Sansui's 10's?

Yeah they are 10s

And sounds good, my sub is mostly in the corner but I’ll push it back a little more

Even though it’s all old it blows the socks off of my slightly used Panasonic 5.1 set up lol

I have a Harmon Kardon receiver with Sony bookshelfs and just a Sony 8" front facing sub. It is close to the corner, LOL. I have a fireplace in the only corner it is close to.... so I can't even follow that advice.

Someday I'll get my surround speakers out of the box they're packed in. All three of those are Harmon Kardons.

Nice! Yeah my wife didn`t know I was bringing home the system but hey it was free so she cannot complain! she went on nights today so she`ll get to experience them tomorrow. I at least told her before she left lol. This sub is shaking things off the walls and I’m pretty sure would bust the window it`s next to at max. This thing can hit hard. I’m going to find some good speakers to finish out my surround sound at some point but honestly do not need them with this setup. My old one is a Panasonic 5.1 from bestbuy in the early 2000s.
