JP...I installed a white face plate in my 07 Mustang also. It didn't come with the MyColor cluster originally, but I found one, with all gauges, and installed it. Even with PATS, the Mustang is swapable, which I found unusual. I was sure I was going to have to flash it. Nope, not on this model. I like being able to swap the color now, at my leisure, and I like that when the key is on, the cluster is always lit so seeing in the daylight is much better, and at night, unbelievable.

Speaking of free and high school... I posted a picture of my snow blower on FB last night and a friend from high school said he has one just like it with a broken axle, so he told me to come take it for spare parts. I'm stoked!

BTW, I really like Sony TV's, blu ray players, and home audio..... but I despise their car audio. Every Sony car audio component I bought was absolute garbage. I am all in on Pioneer for car audio. Their stuff never lets me down!!

This is not mine... but the same thing. It has some muscle.... Never got it past 4 on the dial, LOL. It's rated at 60W X 4, but yeah.... it seems underrated.

Man, I think I was in my late 20's when I purchased my first Sony like that lol.

Man , that receiver brings back memories lol. Before internet I think ? Anyway, that was back when Sony changed up that model. I had 2 of those. I had that model, - (probably that exact model with-out looking it up) which was a little newer than the first model series. The first model series had the built in EQ's you could manually adjust.

Any way, WAY back then I used only Advent speakers, - (still have the old boxes somewhere). I was into great sounding very loud music back then, - believe that ... At one time I had that very receiver hooked to the Mac and garage band lol. That was right before it bit the dust for good.

The biggest problem with both of the sony receivers I had in that series, -they would blow speaker outputs...I mean wipe them out, they would never work again without a new board lol.

Man, I think I was in my late 20's when I purchased my first Sony in that series lol. I keep things forever, I can usually fix anything, kind of dug the challenge still do. But I couldn't fix the older Sony without a new audio board. I was down to just that Model you posted up, I think it was back in 2003 roughly. Blew my last 2 speaker outputs playing with garage band. That was it...toast. Pillaged the boards for parts...still have the transformers somewhere..they are huge and heavy lol.

Who in the hell told you to do that ?

Yea, I haven't checked mileage yet, but when I went from 45 psi to 65 psi many things changed. It was the ride quality, quickness and handling. The truck roaded so much better. I didn't give mileage a thought until later. Before I shaked up with the GF, her place was 40 miles each way so I topped off the tank every so many days or trips. I could swear I could make more trips after pumping them up to 65 psi.

But MANN did that take some trial and error. There is A LOT of misinformation on the net about proper air pressure. Researched the shiii out of it only finding very few people who were actually straight up about it...but it took awhile before I could put this one in better perspective. Well to be honest,- the internet has made me a little lazy with figuring it for myself when it comes to certain things lol.

You would never find these tires on an F150 from the manufacturer. Tire shops have to go by the vehicle door jam tag. I left the shop with only 38 psi in the tires. The truck roaded so so but was sluggish. Had good absorption, just installed Fox shocks at the time while completing my 7700 brake swap...which actually made it a little tougher to figure it out lol. Longer story short, here's the best way narrowed down to think of it. E rated tires are built for and installed on trucks with higher load ratings for both safety and longevity. It's not so much the curb weight of the vehicle itself, that factors very little. It's what the vehicle is capable of. So using vehicle information from say the F250/350 set me straight and everything is now golden so to speak. But yea, I know I'm getting better mpgs. I didn't give mpgs a thought until I started skipping normal fill-up intervals...that's when that hit me lol. I'm not driving the truck much now, it's sitting out at my kids place at the moment. I'm going to pick it up this weekend and drive it for awhile. It will probably go to hell if I neglect too much. Need to order more oil filters for it. Seems like very few suppliers around here stocks the Motorcraft filters. So I began running Purolator which are suppose to be the same or were at one time.

Well they are not for some unknown reason I haven't researched yet. With these filters my truck has a cold knock that it didn't have before the switch. To be honest, I haven't had the time to accurately pin on thee filter change, it may be coincidental. I have to order up some Motorcraft filters to confirm. I've nevr neglected the oil and change intervals. Same oil either Castrol or Motorcraft Syn blend every 3000 miles. Engine is 350,000 miles, so I really can't point the finger at the filter yet. Probably sticky lash adjusters...doesn't use oil between changes yet though. Weird.

Hold up a sec, are you saying I'm special?

Nothing special, same sort of thought process though. Which vehicles from the manufactured have D rated tires ? Use that vehicles door jam place card for the most part.

Yea, this just seams to work the best IMO. The tires heavier side wall needs a certain pressure to perform properly. That's the more important point and fact. It's too bad that tires themselves do not show minimum pressures on the sidewall.

That Sony packed some punch, but my Marantz 2250B.... that's the bad boy. It weighs a metric ton, I swear. I also like to go through stuff and repair it, Brew. i've gotten pretty good at repairing Ford OEM stereos, lol. I want to go through my Marantz and do an LED upgrade. Some of my bulbs are burned out. Also need to replace the volume potentiometer. Luckily, you can get parts for these things pretty easily.

Not mine.... but this is the same deal (I think this one has the LED kit already)

And why it weighs so much below. For its time, it was pretty packed with features. These things are legendary. My Grandfather was a HUGE audio buff, and he gave it to me when he retired it. My Sony from the earlier posts actually replaced this for me... I wanted a digital tuner. (BTW - I still have the Sony packed away, if I didn't mention that already).

I had a set identical but black that are still in operation at my buddy's house out in Sutton. He lives in a low area, surrounded by mountains and a river, so he gets lousy reception. The Sony picks up all the radio stations in Anchorage and the Valley, so he's tickled pink. He doesn't get TV without cable, so he uses the receiver and things most of the time. I gave him, 44 cases of record albums (about 60-65 albums per box). Luckily most are still in the boxes I used for packing, and still have access to them. Luckily he does CW more than rock, so he hasn't torn up the boxes looking. ROFL

There were lots of old jazz and elevator music also, because before they went to a rock station, they were Jazz and easy listening. A number of those albums are still in there also. I went totally digital years ago, so I didn't need or have room for the albums. I got them from Power 102.1 radio when they went digital. My buddy was the program manager, so it was easy to allocate me the albums. I kept them for about 10 years, but ran out of room.

The ones i decided not to give up, was the full Rolling Stones collection I won from KENI radio one day in the mid 80's, so I kept those 12 albums (all but one are still in wrappers) and a few unusual albums that would be impossible to replace. I sold them a few years ago for $430 in an eBay auction. I sold a John Kay and Sparrow album for $125 last spring. I really need to go thru those boxes again one day and dig out a couple more big ticket albums and drop them on eBay. It makes for nice Christmas money for the Grand kids. lol
