They don't have one. I guess there's a little push pin that sort of secures it to the battery box. It's wrapped into the harness, you pin it to the box.

That bracket bolts to the top of the frame behind the pass tire. That same bolt fastens the frame to engine ground that bolts to bottom of the starter. Bracket bolt hole is right on top of the frame rail.

A pic of the layout complete, this bolts to the frame rail, -

right, thats where it is located in f150 with the 5.4, however i believe that the 4.6l with 2wd it is located in a diffrent location i will upload a photo to verify. The bracket that is on the cable does not allow to bolt in that locaton and my truck doesn't have the holes to bolt it there either

I am pretty sure mine is where Brew says. Mine is a 97 4.6 4X4 with a 4R70W.

I will check when I get home.

the first three pictures are of the wheel well and the bracket. the bracket would have to be modified for it to fit in that specific location. then the other photo is of the middle of the 2 chocks on the frame where some of the grounds on the 5.4l have them. and the last picture is, a picture i took before removing the engine it shows the direction in which the cable is facing
