We'll see though... I really need to get rid of one vehicle, LOL. Problem is... which one?
Just "one" vehicle ? Lol, I usually have two vehicles, first time with just one for the last couple years. Usually lease a new/newer one and use the 98 when needed. Down to just the old truck and it hasn't let me down or forced me to pick up another. Things are changing though, the 98 needs work. Nothing detrimental, I just can't hide the rust anymore lol. It's starting to look it as well. Going to be working her hard in a few, we'll see how she handles that...I don't expect a problem but anything could happen. Something is bound to right ? Honestly, I don't have a clue about what's going to give out first.

I don't know about the windshield, couldn't get it to leak during testing. My cab overlaps did though. Pretty bad and dumped water into the cab close enough to the GEM to cause concern. Both sides leaked into the cab but the drivers side was worse. I set up a moat around the overlaps, constructed of plumbers putty and filled it water. It emptied into the cab pretty quick lol. Anyway, the overlaps are spot welded. The rest of the overlap is silicon caulked from the factory. The silicon dried up and fell away and out of the seam. Cleaned all that up, down to bare metal and welded the seam solid. That took care of the leaks on both sides.
It just that so many have had windshield leaks or A-pillar leaks in the past. At least that's what most pin the leak problem on. I couldn't prove that as the problem, in fact I proved it wasn't the problem lol. With the 98 anyway.
So yea, that's all I'm concerned about. A leak might develop at some point.

Nice place, - the driveway is killer! Looks like nice new concrete...clean. Hope none of your vehicles leak, wouldn't want to spot up that nice looking drive. It's a PITA attempting to remove oil stains from a nice concrete. Unless you have a 3600 GPM PW handy.

Whitey....that place looks nice. You will need a auto dealers license pretty soon with all the steel laying in the driveway. lol

Brew.....sounds like a trip south is in order to find a replacement, rust free body. I saw them for as little as $200 with blown motors in Alabama. My daughter sent me a couple ads on the GEN 10's from her local Craigslist. Damn things are clean, for their years, just the motor or trans have taken the proverbial dump.

I finally put the tonneau back on lil Red today. It's been nice the past two days, but the rain is back tomorrow. At least it is all red now and matching.

Great AK, looking better all the time. Much better than the white.

The only thing that leaks is the Mustang. It has the classic SBF rear main seal leak. I need to pull the motor and just re-do all the rear main, and the oil pan/timing chain cover gaskets one of these days. I have steel core gaskets on the valve covers, and they don't leak a drop. Been on there for over 15 years now, and I've reused them 3 times.

(It leaking isn't a big deal because the garage floor is painted)

LOL, I know. I can put two cars in on the cement pad in the back yard, and two in the garage. Just need to finish unpacking all of these boxes. I've spent a lot of time organizing and building shelves in the shed. I also decided to wire it, LOL. I need lights and electricity for my drill press, grinder, etc. Thinking of building an "island" for the middle of the shed with a drop down power source.

ORRRRR, the Yaris would fit in there, LOL. Naah, dumb idea.

I called on insuring the little beer can (I need to give it a real nickname) and it is 240 a year for full coverage, and 73 for liability. Think I'll do full coverage, LOL. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Whitey....with the Yaris, all you have to do is stand it on end at the end of the driveway until you need it. LOL. All those Fords, then that POS. LOL. Only kidding. I have a friend with one, and he gets super gas mileage. He drives 60 miles each way to work, and still only uses so little gas, it's ridiculous. He loves that little turd. lol

My guess is that's a light that goes off when it gets to operating temperature.

Yeah.... it will actually fit in my shed, AK. LOL.

It's a little tike, but so far I really like everything other than the damn belt squeal.... which EVERY Toyota 1.5L seems to have. Trying to figure out the coolant type on this pig too, because I know it's 10 years old. My Sister doesn't do maintenance and I didn't change it.
