Are you going to leave that topper on through the whole move ? I probably couldn't, I have some tall stuff and pack it tight. Although I think I am going to rent a large trailer.

Have all this stuff ready to go. So far I moved a lazyboy, small wall table and dropped off a kitten on the way back home last night. Stray cat had kittens, taxied it to the new owners. I got volunteered

I got a lot to do next month...drag lol.

How much time do you have into moving this far white?

Oh yea, don't forget to grab that drink off the grey box before you take off. Is that a Superman cocktail ?

LOL... yeah, that vice is an oldie that my FIL gave me. That's a farmers handle that you see right there. Been thinking about getting a bigger one, but this one has done everything I've asked it to do so far.

Brew, I almost took the topper off today, but it's a PITA sometimes. I am renting a 24 foot moving truck from Budget. It's got a ramp and all that jazz. I am moving 22 miles from where I am now. According to Google, it's a 29 minute trip, LOL. They don't know how heavy my right foot is.

LOL Farmers Handle: short for a "I said tight Biitch!!" handle.

A moving truck would be nice, but I have heavy stuff on castors in the shop. Also stuff on moving dolly's. Those rental trailers sit much lower to the ground and have long ramps that sit flush with the trailer deck. More less the only way to go for me. But, I'm not hauling furniture, appliances or mattress/box springs either, except for a few sentimental pieces anyway. So a trailer is a little more practical in my situation.

I'm moving about the same distance, well my stuff is anyway for now. But it's an old two lane highway road cut through cornfields , 55mph just about all the way...so not a bad trip. My stuff will be well protected for 2 or 3 years or so. Probably less since the new shop is going up first.

I'm never restoring a tractor again... or buying a hand start pretty sure we have an exhaust manifold leak as well as our petcocks for compression release are leaking. Then found out our air breather isn't on right but that requires taking everything back off... oh well it made it down to our county fair so that's good lol I'm just happy to be done... working in 95° weather and heat index 110+ humidity 85%... I'm tired but onto the next task of getting the animals ready to go down tomorrow

Brew, how long before you are out of your place? I have to be out by Thursday afternoon. A week from today I will be coming at you from my new pad.

I thought about doing a trailer for the height reasons as well. Still might do a Uhaul instead because they sit lower. I didn't realize how tall this SOB is until I just looked. My Wife is the one that reserved the Budget truck. Look at this thing... I don't know about carrying a couch, etc. up this ramp.

BTW.... That tractor looks FANTASTIC, 2100.

Whitey.....no way in hell would I used the high cube box truck for moving. UHaul has such better, lower, easier to access trucks over the Budget or Penske ones. Have fun.......lol

2100.....it turned out great. I told you it would be nice when you got finished. Good job.
