Yep I agree, totally worth it. I'll be gone for 6 weeks at a time and home for 2 weeks. 6 weeks is a long time, but at least when I'm home we can travel, see new places together and most of all, move out of NM. I hate this place, my daughter will not be going to school here.

New Mexico is part of the states bud. Even though it really doesn't feel like it. White people are a minority here for sure and education is some of the worst in the country. I'll be moving to Montana as soon as possible.

6 weeks is long, but I've been traveling like this since 2007 so I'm pretty used to it. It's harder on my wife of 3 years and we have a 2 year old. But after this last year of budgeting hard and not having much extra to do anything fun like when we first met, she's ready for it too. All teams on board helps a lot. Plus the money is killer.

Haha don't feel bad. I was carded at a gas station in Utah one time and the lady behind the counter was impressed how well my English was.

Yes Montana is a state lol.

As for the schooling, I'm too far gone. My daughter on the other hand deserves the best start I can give her. Montana has some on the best public schools in the country, and great colleges.

Edit: I read your last statement wrong. Yes she is not in school yet, she's only 2.

Well today I actually got a bit busy and finally started to finish the tonneau cover for lil Red. I sanded it down, and then put on the first two coats. I'm going to let it dry overnight then put on the final coat and a clear. That will hold it until I get ready to paint the whole truck.

This was a good test of my gravity feed gun. It almost worked too damn good. lol. I got 2 small runs (I hate NAPA Martin Senyor) so I'll sand those out in the morning then put on a final nice coat. It's been 7 years or more since I last did any painting, and damn, it showed today. lol. At least no dry spots yet.

Looks like you going to need more than one more coat of base to get the front edge right. I can see in where you ran into trouble on flat, nothing that can't be fixed. Is that dirt sitting on top AK ? What happened lol.

Not dirt, but lots of freakin' bugs. The little white you see if the damn cottonwoods still floating around. This is only to match it up better. You were the one who said the white wasn't good to the red, so I thought about it, and yeah. It needed to be matched.

I'll sand it tomorrow and put on a full top coat. If I get more bugs, so be it. At least it is red.

I think that next spring, I'm going to go ahead and take my house on the lake back and move back there. It is the only way I'm going to have my garage back to work in. I hate to give up $1400 a month, but what the hell. It's only money. Ouch. lol.
