No, dang it- i had my phone paired to my garage stereo playing music and didnt think of it until i had it apart!- they wasnt too bad- but had a few thin spots where it wouldnt have lasted very long( especially with my fat *** going in and out of it) thought id get a new cover before it ripped and the cushion started to deteriorate.

That's cool, I hadn't thought of an in and out. That's the first thing that's getting built, -garage/shop or a Big Red Barn rather lol. Two story with a loft/storage.
I've attempted to get a hold of an old Kennedy quite a few times. I've bid on a few in the past but man, folks will pay a pretty penny for them. I scored a huge Colombian vice recently. It's sweet, been sitting outside for quite awhile , looks it, but man is it tight and in great shape besides that. Can't wait to bolt it down in the future. I've been using an old Wilton for years. It's only a 30 lb'er but a tough little bastard.
Good luck with yours and I've ratcheted up quite a few things in the from those to hooks in the front of the bed in the past. Tool boxes I empty first though, that's just too much damn weight and watch your hands while ratcheting, it easy to pinch off a chunk of skin if your not careful lol.

I took the old cover and tried different cleaners- there is one in a purple bottle- power clean, i think- it cleaned them up good- then i followed up with maguires leather rich conditioner- im very pleased with the results!

Bear.....looking good. That Super Cleaner in purple bottle is something else. It does well on grease, that is what I like about it the most.
Brew....I must of missed something. Where are you moving to? As far as this thread dying, at times yes, other times 300=500 hits a day. It's summer. Lots of people were not on these sites during the 4th. On other threads, I'm pretty much stopped in posting to them. I got tired of the BS from some of the newer members. I did post on the thread of the new guy from Kodiak AK but haven't been posting much other.
Whitey.....There was a Kennedy tool box on our local Craigslist not too long ago. It was sold in less that 30 minutes. Strong boxes, that's for sure. Lots of Snappy or Mac or Matco or even some Cornwell boxes on the net right now. It;s the time of the year for moving to different places, and they are popping up all over this summer.
