White....are you talking about the black dock style retainers at the lower edge of the bed? If so, I doubt the bolts are strong enough. They do bend, I do know that. Really, thinking about these beds, there isn't much to attach anything heavy to, so there really isn't anything else to hook onto. Maybe try and use both sides together, and you'd double the pulling strength. What else can you do? Good luck.

Question again...

Those hooks in the beds of these F150's.... do you think they would take the abuse of hooking a come along in there and pulling the boxes in with the come along?
Yes, been there done exactly that...never do it again though lol.

Why are you renting a locker, didn't the house sale go through ? Man that sucks, hate moving things twice.

Shane, just save those large heavy things for last or make it a one load affair. Once you have all the heavier rounded up, rent that uhaul trailer. I have my own trailer but still rent a uhaul for the heavy stuff on wheels and rollers. Their trailer have those long HD ramps. It's much easier , you won't kill yourself and it's ONLY $30 a day.

I haven't packed anything today. Packed box #53 yesterday, I have a load of steel for the scrap yard and 40 gallons of oil for Auto zone when they're not looking.

Yeah, those black t-hook things is what I was talking about, AK. I've tied some heavy stuff to them before.... differential, manual forklift, roll of vinyl flooring... and they did ok. Never used them for anything but an anchor though. Thanks for the tip on wrapping the tool box. I am going to shrink wrap my Westward box. My two Crafstmans both have locks. I took everything I have in blow mold cases already. My grandmother has a very large garage, and she said I can go park my tool boxes over there for a night or two. She is the one that just gave me all of the tools. (BTW, my Dad is giving me his old Kennedy box)

Brew, I had to rent one. First reason.... move stuff out of my house while it was for sale to make it look bigger. It seemed to work out OK. I had 7 offers on it. The other reason is because the way everything is set up, I won't get the keys to my new house until the day after I have to be out of my current house. I have to wait for loans to fund and all of that happy stuff. The good thing is, this should all be over and done in 2 weeks.

My Wife told me today that her Dad already is planning on coming down and helping me build a big shed/workshop. The house already has a 10 X 10, but I'd like another one.... maybe even another garage in out back. We'll see.

That's cool, I hadn't thought of an in and out. That's the first thing that's getting built, -garage/shop or a Big Red Barn rather lol. Two story with a loft/storage.

I've attempted to get a hold of an old Kennedy quite a few times. I've bid on a few in the past but man, folks will pay a pretty penny for them. I scored a huge Colombian vice recently. It's sweet, been sitting outside for quite awhile , looks it, but man is it tight and in great shape besides that. Can't wait to bolt it down in the future. I've been using an old Wilton for years. It's only a 30 lb'er but a tough little bastard.

Good luck with yours and I've ratcheted up quite a few things in the from those to hooks in the front of the bed in the past. Tool boxes I empty first though, that's just too much damn weight and watch your hands while ratcheting, it easy to pinch off a chunk of skin if your not careful lol.

I pulled a four wheeler up into my bed with a winch using both of the tie downs on each side of the bed.
