I used oil. What I needed was to not be stupid and buy a tool from HF.

A $4!T blade is a $4!T blade, no matter now much oil you put on it. In my experience, the HF hole saws are softer metal than they should be.

And the teeth are enormous, so they snag like mad, and since they're soft, most of them broke. Complete POS. I threw it away.

They are barely suitable for wood. In fact, I'd bet if you went through a 2X6, it would burn its way through by the end. Smellin' like a camp fire.

Just a touch over 4 years ago, I got Mike Portnoy's right hand stick signed, and the whole SOA band signed my album cover.

In fact, I forgot to mention, that I had to finish the job with a jigsaw.

They are my go to blade of choice for all my implements. I had a completely trashed galvanized boat trailer the rust won the battle with and i think it only took two blades to saw it into manageable pieces.

We hacked the front end off a wrecked F150 too. Frame, rad support... fenders.... they were no match!

I use the plasma cutter when possible.
Take no time to get nice cuts.
