I remember when I cut the hole in the inner fender for the AFM power pipe on the Mustang. A few choice words were said that day. A plasma cutter would've made things *much* easier.
A true barn find
Meaning it is still in one out at the painters house
Where we are still waiting to buff iot out and put the Boss stripes on it
Only pics I have are with it in pieces or me and the dog installing weatherstrips
That said here you are
Bought the pile in 79 with a Windsor motor in it (no screw in freeze plug Boss block)
Had Gapp and Roush help me build a "Bogus Boss" motor for it in the eighties (cost me 10k)
Sent my 289 rods to Livonia Michigan, the whole works
I have a correct motor for it now. Cost me another 10k
That's what hobbies are for Serial starts with 9F02G That G means Boss 302 originally. A guy in CA sold his Boss 302 and had an extra rebuilt motor I bought from him. My friends all had Camaros when I bought this thing. I bought one of their 69 Z-28s year later. Last time I drove it was to the Ford dealer I worked at because the bitches did not believe I owned one. That was 89 I think. I do start and drive it from shop to barn occasionally.
You have my dream car! I want a 70 Fastback in the worst way. I got to drive one for the fist time last summer. It has a 351 Cleveland in it. I fixed some vacuum leaks on it - trying to get the FMX to go into 3rd because there was not enough vacuum for the modulator. We're probably going to put an AOD in it for him.
By the way, are you a member of NUMOA?

Camaro is back together for now, took it for a spin around the block and barely made it home.
It seemed to run decent with no load, but it was bogging down and popping under acceleration.
I had to stand on it to keep it from stalling on the way back.
It died when I let off the gas pedal once in the garage.
Pulled a plug and found a black Bosch double platinum, those are going in the trash, and I have a set of A/C R43TS to go back in.
