For the most part, yes. The 4L60 had high energy clutches for 3-4 from the factory, as well as the 2/4 band. Hopefully it would have 4L65 parts in it though. They have some subtle upgrades over both. Planetaries are better, and it also uses a bearing instead of a thrust washer for the ring gear. Basically looks like this:
No, not a member of NUMOA not sure what that is
Never wanted to have it registered with the Boss 302 registry but an old buddy of mine registered it for me
+1 for the AC plugs Phil48315
Bought me a 69 427 motor for my 68 Camaro
A good friend might talk me out of it
So, I bought another 1972 454 motor and a forged 396 crank to build Open chamber '72 454. Nothing real fancy in there yet, 11:1 motor, factory forged pistons
another 427 just in case
The younger of the two wrenches I used struck out on his own. No pun intended - bit prophetic. A young hire was tasked to replace the gasket for my 5.4 oil filter housing. He overtightened the new oil pressure switch-sensor and cracked the housing. Not noticing, reassembled, replaced fluids, and found it on the startup. 😖 The boss said it was his first F-U. Pretty basic to not over torque something sensitive w teflon tape on it. Now a housing has to be sourced. This is my used replacement engine. Noone saw the leak before it got installed of course. My old engine just got scrapped. Darn. Sure wish we had a straight forward way to make the oil pressure gauge and actual gauge.

I am pretty sure @OhioLariat came up with a solution for that.
EDIT: Here you go. Sometimes I forget that searching Google with the correct keywords is much faster than trying to find something by searching the site via its own search.
THANK You kemo sabes white & oHIo.
I wish it had occured to me to *****$k when this started so parts were in hand, now. Will get humping on it !!!
Yes, gargoyle search can pull-up Amazon stuff that IT cannot. Boolean works too in GG. Example, 20 qt Sterlite "sealed" containers. 6/$50. They hold 30-40 lbs of flour etc and remain V sturdy, stacked over my head, even if wobbled. Upended full of water, a.V lil drips out. Slows rodents and stops bugs. And a gal can haul one down from a stack to access a month's worth of food in a disaster.
Bigger, sealed, can be had, but start to lose stackable-wobble strength when heavily loaded, and, unmanageable for a gal on a tall stack. Modern homes lack panty space. Under the best of conditions, searching a black tote is V hard.
