How far are you from him? Probably too late now, but he mentioned yesterday, first one to stop by his place gets a free winch and tires.
With my driving style.... 4 hours
I am closest to Chad. He's around an hour away. Ben is probably 20 minutes past Chad. Robby is next at about 2 hours. Paul and Matt are sixes.... kind of a different route you'd take for either of them.
I went passed Robby's in 2022 on the way to the Rat Fink show.
My little brother kind of the same way...ALA the engine is still there when he opens the hood. he's done his part for a CEL light.
We are kind of opposites, he knows nothing about vehicles and he's nice to people all the time, no matter what. He cracks me up, makes it impossible to pick on lol.
Mom never had car problems that I can recall. She was a leaser, mini vans then SUV's and now Jeeps lol.
That sounds very familiar. Must be a little brother thing. lol
My mom also followed the Ford Windstar (minivan)-> Ford Explorer (SUV)-> Jeep Cherokee (kind of a jeep) pipeline. For people to have so many problems with the Fiat jeeps she has only had to replace a dead battery. The BMW phase was much more problematic.

That is a much larger building than I thought it would be for some reason.

The 2016 Trail Hawk ate a battery a little sooner than I thought it should, but that was the only problem with that one as well. I put in an Auto Stop/Start defeat module to cut that out. (I'm *sure* I pulled that module before it left the driveway for the last time, but have no idea what I did with it.) Loved oil filter changes on that V6. The cartridge is right on top.
I finally got some real sleep last night for the first time this week, and am just starting to feel human again. Thank you, Z-pak! My doc was out of the office yesterday, so I tried an online service which was recommended by a coworker: www.GoodMDs.com. Filled out a form, hit submit, and forty (!) minutes later got a notification that my script was ready. I wouldn't rely on it for anything unknown or serious, but in this case, it was perfect. Only $39 for the service, too.
Virtual visits are free with my insurance plan. So we try and take advantage of that, especially when it's just a cold.
My local doc doesn't do anything virtually. I was wary of this service, but in this case, it served it's purpose. I'd much prefer the ability to actually speak with a person.
I'm feeling more tired than I think I should, but better than the last few days. I wouldn't say I'm back in the saddle, but at least I'm not slung over it any more.
I'm liking the Falkens.
I'm shaking my head, though, as the shop "replaced" two of my chrome valve stem caps with black plastic ones and didn't reinstall the chrome sleeves at all. Only 2.99 for a new set on eBay, so I'm not even going to bother with them, but still. It's happened before, so I should've just pulled them before I went.
Yeah, but I look at it as a "procedural thing." This may happen, but it should be rare. The worker should have a, take it off here, put it there, then, reverse procedure. It should fit in his routine like exactly when he sets pressure and how he moves when he adds tire rim lube. If he's careless with one aspect, then ALL aspects fall under suspicion. And while a tiny gripe, just as you say, I'd put it to management just this way. It should never have happened, TWICE. If his work doesn't have a patter to it, he can do it but he's not a real pro.
