Thinking
I'm definitely going to put a couple of 20 amp circuits in the garage. My panel is right on the side of the garage, so it will be cake. I already have a bunch of friends that said "call me, and I'll come help". Two are currently electricians, and one was a few years ago. Three of the four of us had the same Home Wiring teacher back in high school, strangely enough. Anyway, yeah... I also might add a circuit dedicated to the furnace, and possible future A/C unit.
BTW, I thought that compressor would be in the neighborhood of 10 to 12 amps. That 4hp motor is hungry, I guess. It seems a lot happier on a circuit by itself right now.

I got a kick out of the guy at HD yesterday. I had him cut me some wire, and we started talking about what I was making. He asked me if I was an electrician, and I told him no... just a cheap azz that knows enough to be dangerous. Anyway, he told me that he gets a lot of people in there asking how to wire receptacles, switches, breakers, etc. and he always wonders how it turns out because these people obviously shouldn't be attempting electrical work. Kind of a funny conversation.

Good Compressors can get expensive, that Ingersol 2 stage w/built cooler wasn't bad at 950 from TSC. It's night and day compared to single stage, oil less, no cooling.

I've often thought about midstream changing careers. That stuff is fun to me.
Ah yes... I remember him telling me he had used some of those things on his old phone.
Do you ever battle an issue, then find the SIMPLEST solution... then wonder why it took so long to arrive at the solution?
Yeah... just did that. I need to sand in where my ground effects are debossed and say "MUSTANG GT". The Scotch Brite pads aren't even a little bit useful here. I tried all kinds of crap... even went through all of my Dremel kits trying to find something. But using a paint stir stick wrapped with sand paper is the golden ticket! Man... that seriously has been on my mind for a couple of days, then I saw the stir stick sitting there and BAM!

AFA the solution....pillage the john for a few of those flexible nail files. Don't let the little woman ketch yuh. They're like 300 grit on one side and 600 on the other.
I've seen them use a cone shaped power ball, sandpaper and rubber band in the past as well.
