Yeah, they would bury ships and loot for their next life, It would be needed unless they were worthy to get to Valhalla.
So, either they all want to Valhalla or didn't need them in the afterlife.
I got a little Irish too, but we don't talk about that so much.

Right, either ascended to a higher plain of existence...or, could possibly be living large in a alternate reality captaining the very ships they buried. The journey to Valhalla by design.
