That's a good reason to swap them back, AK. Nice that she wants to slide over next to ya.

Laptops and most Desktops are perishable items now. The service plans that go along with them are pretty much crud unless you buy the Geeksquad service plans. Even then, most complicated issues can't be solved in house and takes a little time for them to send it out. I buy a new "Openbox" home/work PC every 2-3 years if I need it or not. Every time I go to buy an expensive System76 rig, I still end up saving a ton by finding an openbox, lol.

Anyone know what this is? On the same harness as the oil pressure sensor...

Btw, whoever designed the remote oil filter on this truck was smoking crack...pita to get to the top mount nut on the filter bracket, both nuts on the engine block side are stripped and will need replaced, and the bottom plate nut seems to be cross threaded. Btw, anyone know where I can get cheap plate nuts that fit Ford 10mm bolts?

So, whilst working on the oil filter lines yesterday, I stumbled upon the carcass of what I originally thought was first a wasp nest and then a dead bird...upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a dead bat...wtf? It was wedged between the filter housing and the frame rail...

Seems like a sign...either I need to clean this truck up some more or I need to don a cape and a mask and hunt street criminals in the night....

Ghost town in here...just throwing another question out there...

Installing toolbox lights and wiring for remote locks on my truck box (tinkering project, so not immediate need) Want to be able to disconnect the harness if I ever need to move the box, so anyone know a good 4 wire weatherpack harness on the truck so I can yank it from the junkyard and wire it in?

Took a break from the Vette to work on the grinding/ buffing station.
Might take it back apart and paint it when the weather warms up but good to go for now.
I made the braces for the bottom.
After mounting the casters, it had a little movement, and I was worried the legs would deform.

↨ Used the plasma cutter to trim the edge of the c-channel off.

The c-channel brace interfered with the caster, and I had to trim it at the ends so the casters would sit flush.
It lifted the table almost 5.5 inches taller than before, which has it at almost the perfect height, so I am not hunching to work at it.

Thinking of making a mesh/expanded metal shelf to hold the extra discs, belts, and wheels.
Do an angle iron frame from the top, so stuff won't roll off when I move it, or from vibration.

so i am officially done with my sister, she had a baby shower yesterday, she snubbed our gifts and my grandparents gifts because they weren't name brand

we got him some bottles and diapers for 3-6 months of age and some teething stuff(plastic car keys you put in the freezer and then they can chew on them) and she got pissed because they can't be used immediately, and my grandmom gave him some books from when my dad was a kid and when i was a kid, she made the comment that oh these came from your attic didn't they

Sometimes the problem isn't the overt actions you see directed at you, but rather what's happening behind the scenes in her life. Sounds like she may be under a lot of stress that you don't know about with someone else and is taking her frustrations out on those whom she feels close enough to to not lose by her negativity. Might want to check in with her to see if everything is okay in other aspects of her life.

My older sister went through this phase with her first child. The problem wasn't with those of us around her but rather the guy with whom she was having the child. He was controlling and, without going into detail, not the best for her. It took him dying of a stroke for her to come out of that shell.
